The New Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters Ride in Cars Land Has an Opening Date

2016 is an eventful year for Disney parks with eight major attractions to open. But the wait is almost over for Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, the newest addition to Cars Land in Disneyland's California Adventure park.

The attraction is based on Cars character Luigi and his 20 cousins who are visiting from Italy to dance and celebrate Race Day at Casa Della Tires.

Set to open March 7, this attraction is the first trackless Disney ride in the US — Tokyo Disneyland's Pooh's Hunny Hunt is an example of just how impressive trackless rides can be — and includes 18 unique routes, one for every roadster except for two disabled access-friendly cars. Riders will get to take their pick of any of the mini two-seaters and dance along to Italian music in the passenger seat. Think of it like Disneyland's spinning teacups, but minus the labor and more fun tunes. Each cousin has their own signature dance move as well, so every ride will be a different experience.

Book your next trip ASAP and be a part of the fun!
