According to Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz Isn't Just Her Soulmate, They're "Twin Flames"

Alicia Keys wants the world to know that no one can get in the way of what she's feeling for husband Swizz Beatz. On July 31, the 40-year-old singer shared a heartwarming tribute on Instagram in honor of her and Swizz's 11th wedding anniversary. "Soulmates. Deeper [than] soulmates. Twin flames. An existential earthquake. My soul's mirror," she captioned an intimate photo of her and Swizz. "All these are good but still not strong enough to describe our precious, precious love!! Happy anniversary my love! Woooooooowwwwwwww it's just getting better!! 👑👑👑 I celebrate, honor and deeply respect us!! Here's to many many many many more!!!!!" To continue the anniversary love, Alicia followed up her post with a gallery featuring videos of the couple in what she dubbed the "real love zone."

The duo first met when they were teenagers, but didn't get romantically involved until years later. They married in 2010 in Corsica, France, while Alicia was pregnant with their first child, son Egypt. In 2014, the couple welcomed their second child, son Genesis. As to why Alicia feels their marriage works so well, she had this to say on Instagram, "one of the best secrets is that we're friends. Best friends. We actually listen to each other and share with each other and are thoughtful about how the other feels."
