He's been working hard to promote Seven Pounds while doing good, and it looks like he rewarded himself with a relaxing tropical getaway. Will Smith had his big smile ready to go for his fans at a benefit screening of Seven Pounds in Missouri last night. This was just one of the five places he'll show his movie for charity, and the next stop will be in Cleveland later today. Will kicked things off by donating turkeys in Miami, and he's already planning to keep giving back right through the holiday season. He said, "Our Christmas this year, our family is not doing internal giving. All external. So we're giving to others, so in Jada's name, I'll give to a charity or something like that. And that's almost bubbling from the kids. It's not like something that we have to say to them." Sounds like Will and Jada's kids already have their parents passion for giving while Will also gets to premiere his new project.

Will Smith Donates Lots of Turkeys in Miami

Will Smith has a month before his new movie hits theaters but he's already started promoting what we can only expect will be another world tour. His latest film, Seven Pounds, costars Rosario Dawson who was by his side in Miami for a charity premiere. The film is about Will's character doing remarkable things for seven strangers and it's by the same director who helped Will score an Oscar nomination for The Pursuit of Happyness. The movie comes out December 19th and of course while Will was doing good and donating 300 turkeys, he was also keeping things in the family as he plugged his son's film coming out a week before his soon to be blockbuster. Will may be a huge A-list movie star but first and foremost, he's a doting dad.

The happy foursome posed for photos while Ben Stiller and his wife Christine made it a date and left their kids at home. Fergie was also on hand to walk the green carpet, though her big smile may have more to do with her wedding than the movie. Her plans are moving along and supposedly she is now working with Karl Lagerfeld to design her dream gown. She and Josh Duhamel have been engaged for a year already but they don't seem in to rushing the big day anytime soon.

Queen Latifah was on SNL this weekend assisting Tina Fey in recreating the VP debates but last night she was cracking up with Will Smith on the red carpet in LA for the premiere of The Secret Life of Bees. Will was there as a producer and to support Jada who embraced Fall's latest lace trend and is an executive producer of the film based on the best-selling novel. Dakota Fanning continues to look all grown up while looking perfectly age appropriate. The recently engaged Jennifer Hudson got gorgeous in navy with matching blue eye shadow. Oprah Joins Will, John and Sidney to Celebrate Tyler's Studio

Oprah Winfrey brought both Stedman Graham and Gayle King to the opening gala for Tyler Perry's new movie and TV studio in Atlanta on Saturday night. While Oprah is dealing with a defamation lawsuit from the former headmistress of her South African Girls school, it was the history-making event that had Oprah so emotional. Tyler is the first African-American to own his own studio and there were a few tears in the crowd as he took the stage to announce that he's named three sound-stages after the legendary actors Ruby Dee, Cecily Tyson and Sidney Poitier. Sidney was there to accept the honor, saying, "I spent 56 years making movies and this is the reward that I have that means the most to me." With a supportive crowd including Will Smith, John Legend and many others, it was truly an event worth celebrating.

Will Smith and Jada put on their big red carpet smiles out to support her brother Caleb Pinkett at his premiere of Lakeview Terrace in NYC last night. As for Caleeb's costars, Samuel L. Jackson had his usual Kangol while Kerry Washington was all wrapped up in red. Will produced the film, which he was excited to gush about and when asked about playing Barack Obama on screen he said, "That's great! As soon as he writes the end of the story; we're going to help him write the end of the story in the next couple of weeks." Not the first time it's been suggested but I suspect before Will takes on acting as Obama, he'll be stumping for the candidate as the race heats up.

The ladies of The Women gathered to premiere their movie last night in LA. While there may be no men credited in the movie itself, a couple of the loving husbands showed up to support the women in their lives. Will Smith always the doting spouse looked proud with Jada by his side while Warren Beatty and Annette Bening were as perfectly regal as ever. Debra Messing, Meg Ryan, Eva Mendes and Debi Mazar all looked gorgeous in their red carpet best as well. While we'll have to see whether this all-star line up of females can score big with the critics or at the box office for the moment it's all smiles and red carpet camaraderie for the ladies.
