It's a Mini Me Playdate For Zuma, Kingston, and Ruby

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale brought their boys to meet up with Jennifer Meyer and Ruby for some playtime in LA yesterday. We know how much Kingston loves hanging out with Ruby, although this time it looks like the two took a little tumble. Soon, Zuma will have a Maguire baby close to his age to be friends with too, although for now he looks happy snuggled in mom's arms. You guys are excited about the No Doubt reunion tour, and apparently we'll see them performing as early as May — can't wait to see the Stefani-Rossdales all hit the road together.

The LA Lakers helped kick off the NBA season last night with their celebrity cheering section out in full force. David Beckham was front and center as usual to support his fellow professional athletes, but this time without his pint-size fans, while longtime Lakers lovers Leonardo DiCaprio and Kevin Connolly enjoyed a guys night out. Denzel Washington and his wife joked around with Governor Schwarzenegger, while Tobey Maguire watched intently. The Lakers handily defeated the Portland Trailblazers to start off a season that they and all their star fans hope is full of wins like that one.

Kate Hudson Pulls Off Another Star-Studded Halloween Bash

Kate Hudson threw her annual Halloween party in LA on Saturday night, and as usual the guest list was lengthy. The crew got all decked out, from Cindy Crawford dressed up as Amy Winehouse to Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer as a white trash couple. Courteney Cox and David Arquette were a witch and a warlock — couples costumes were pretty popular. The hostess of the evening was dressed, appropriately, as an airline flight attendant, there to keep everyone full of beverages all night long. Things even got a little out of hand, and the cops had to stop by to tell them to quiet down. There were no celebrity babies allowed at this adults only party, but we'll get to see them all dressed up for trick or treating at the end of the week.

Mischa Barton showed up in a colorful Herve Leger but was rolling solo — and loving it. When asked about being single since her breakup with Taylor Locke, Mischa said, "I'm not used to being single but it's really nice. It's great, actually. It's important to breathe for a minute." Mischa may have more time on her hands these days to work on her fashion line and acting career, but we'll see how long she can avoid those public makeout sessions she seems to love so much.

Kevin Connolly directed the video and Tobey Maguire paid a visit to the set, which must mean that Gisele is still on good terms with her ex Leonardo DiCaprio's good buddies. The supermodel is sure to create some buzz for the band, but she's got more than a day of work to take care of in Los Angeles — her boyfriend Tom Brady is recovering there after having surgery on Monday to repair the torn ligament in his knee. Tom recently bought a plot of land in LA to build a house so he can be closer to his son, but for now he's just getting back on his feet in sunny California with the help of Gisele. Maybe she'll even be able to help get that adorable little boy to come visit his dad while Tom is all laid out.

Stars Hit the Courts For Men's US Open Finals

While the Fashion Week main event last night was Marc Jacobs, all the way out in Flushing, Queens, there was another star-studded show of talent. The men's US Open final took place with Roger Federer beating Andy Murray in three straight sets to win for the fifth year running. Anna Wintour made sure to get an early viewing of Proenza Schouler so she could catch her boy Roger in action, while Natalie Portman came for the second year in a row, only this time with a girlfriend rather than a date. Anne Hathaway shared a laugh with Star Jones, while Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend took in yet another night of the tournament. After the news of two more Spiderman movies, Tobey and Jennifer were straight faced during the match, but it looked like a fairly painless win for Federer to score himself yet another US Open trophy.

Phew. The A-List group of friends were all out on a boating, snorkeling, paddling trip together at the end of last week, and there's just too many treats to even describe in these photos. From Leo playing with little Olive to Isla not being quite as adept on the surfboard as Courteney and her hot bikini body. How goofy does Leo look? We got to see a little of the Cox-Arquettes solo in Hawaii as well as Isla, Sacha, and Olive playing around, but it's so much more fun to see the whole crew together! What a great way to celebrate the end of Summer.

Tropic Thunder Hit LA, All the Boys Come Out to Play

Tropic Thunder has gathered some boycotters over the past few days, but that didn't keep away Hollywood for last night's big red carpet premiere in LA. Fresh from a weekend of rehearsals in NYC, Katie Holmes popped in on Tom's arm to help celebrate his acclaimed cameo in the movie. Of course, the stars Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black were all there with their wives. Stiller in particular spent time defending his movie's edgy content, but only this weekend's box office will tell whether or not people are scared away by the controversy. Matthew McConaughey and Tobey Maguire, who both also make appearances in the film looked great out last night with The Office guys too making it quite the little boys club, with a few pretty faces like Katie, Amy Adams and more sprinkled in for good measure.

Their family is all about their jungle gym time and it looks like Ruby is turning into a playground pro. Tobey seems to be really into jumping around the gym as well. David Beckham made it his third game in a week with Brooklyn by his side again to watch their friend Kobe. Matt Damon was flying without his girls but with fellow Boston boy Mark Wahlberg and pregnant Rhea. Unfortunately for those few Celts fans in the audience, it was an exciting but disappointing night. Now the series is going back to Boston for game six — it may be a different crowd of faces, but there will certainly be a few familiar famous ones to see the NBA finals barrel on.

Tobey Maguire and his girls spent Saturday shopping at Ron Herman and picking up take out for lunch. His wife Jennifer carried their food (vegetarian, of course) to the car, but Tobey was in charge of the most precious cargo of all — their adorable daughter Ruby. The Maguire-Meyer trio is all about family time, from the park to the playground, but even if Tobey has to head out and promote Tropic Thunder soon, I'm sure all this time with his Sweethearts will keep him smiling when he's far away.

Adam Sandler, Tobey Maguire, and Denzel Washington were also in the house to join in on the fun, but it must have been a bit of a disappointing night for Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. Now that the Lakers are advancing to the final round, it means we get at least another week of celebrity stadium sightings.
