Kirsten and Johnny Cheer On England & Each Other

Kirsten and Johnny were enjoying each other a little bit more than the England vs. the West Indies cricket game this week in London and they didn't seem to care who was watching. Spider-Man 3 may have lost its top spot at the Box Office this past weekend to Shrek the Third but it's still raking in the bucks and just upping Kirsten's asking price for the next one (if there is one). Obviously she's on top of the world right now.

Condensed Sugar: The East Coast Oscars Reign!

Monday night marked the most star-filled event we've seen in months (literally), the Costume Institute Gala at The Met. Most of the women looked totally fabulous, but there were a few who were, um, less stunning. Here's what else went down:

Last weekend had its share of fun times, what with the Kentucky Derby, Spider-Man record breaking, Shrek the 3rd premiere and Oscar de la Hoya Fight. Wheeee!
Speaking of Cameron (we were?) she looked pretty seriously smoking this week. Unfortunately, sometimes she should watch what comes out of her mouth. Just saying.
The Paris Goes To Jail story plugged along. This week, with 100% more completely ridiculous comparisons to former presidents! Hey, at least she got herself a fancy new statement writer.
Meanwhile, Lindsay's week was clean and mischief free. NOT. Heh. She started out the week with a scandal. Rather than acknowledge it, she just shacked up with a new man, did some interviews, and went on her her way. Also, her mom is still totes crazy and attention starved.
We got to see little Maddox with his parental units going to and from school. Being such a badass at such a young age, perhaps he should be the one to suggest that hid dad lose the hat.

Tobey Can Finally Kick Back With Ruby

Fresh off his Spider-Man 3 tour of the globe, Tobey looked like he couldn't be happier to be back home in LA with his favorite girls. He may play the comic book hero well, but back at home, Tobey is just another dad looking boyish and carefree while tossing around a football and puckering up to precious baby Ruby. Even though Tobey seems to be enjoying his time off-screen, we're wondering if Spider-Man 3's record breaking weekend will have any bearing on his thoughts for yet another sequel.

Spider-man 3 Has Biggest Opening Weekend Ev-er!

I guess the millions of dollars and weeks of promotional gigs paid off. Not only did Spider-man 3 come in first at the box office this weekend, but it was the biggest opening weekend of all time. Coming in at an estimated $148 million, it knocked Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest out of the top spot. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the new Pirates and Shrek 3 come out in a few weeks, but for now it's Spidey's time! Methinks the studio is frantically scrambling to get Tobey, Kirsten and Sam Raimi signed on for a few more of these...

Britney returned to the stage. She was met with lukewarm reviews, and, sure, her moves were a touch lethargic, but she's on the path back to world domination? Ooooor something. Here's what else went down:

In a surprising display of legitimate celebrity justice, Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her parole. We'll see if that actually happens.
Hey, you guys. There's this movie coming out this weekend. Little art house film. You probably haven't heard of it -- Spider-man 3?
If you've got Arachnophobia, there's a couple other blockbusters heading your way too.
Kate Bosworth emerged with her cute boyfriend looking all cute and puppy lovey together. Awwwww.
What a treat! Natalie Portman was all over. Even getting a little saucy!
There were silly rumors about Katie Holmes fueled by on set pictures. Wheeee!

Spidey Keeps Crawling Towards Opening Day

The Spider-man 3 train is showing no signs of slowing down as it rages through NYC this week. Yesterday, the cast took a break from premieres to stop by TRL. The stars are undoubtedly exhausted from the seemingly endless amount of time and energy they've devoted to their film, but in a recent interview Tobey assured us that working on the Spider-man franchise has been a labor of love. He said:

I'm not quite sure what I've learned, but I know I've learned a lot. It's been six years and I feel like I'm just more at ease in general, working, which is great. One of the things I've really gained is a great relationship with a lot of the crew and cast but especially with Sam. I really love working with Sam, it's such a pleasure, we have so much fun together, he's so collaborative, he's fun, it's funny, really, I go to set and I'm having a blast. Like I wake up in the morning and it's not like a nightmare that I'm up at 5:30, 6 in the morning, it's like okay cool. I'm groggy, I've got to jump in the shower, but I'm excited to go off to work.

The cast definitely looks like a close-knit bunch goofing around on the set of TRL, even with the newcomers. All this Spidey stuff may seem like serious overkill, but we're certainly counting down to see the blockbuster this weekend. Peter Parker Brings Spider-man 3 Home to Queens

Spider-man 3 has been around the world, but last night it premiered in Peter Parker's hometown of Queens, NY. The event was part of the Tribeca Film Festival (and Spider-man week), so you better bet all the stars of the film were in the house. Kirsten, whose birthday it was (Happy 25th!), went with shiny silver while the cute, cute (Topher? Franco? Tobey with little Spidey? Amazing) boys kept the game pretty traditional. Thus far the reviews of the film have been faint praise, but it doesn't really matter. Something tells me that Spidey will do okay for himself no matter what anyone says. Kirsten's Still Going

Here are the latest looks from Kirsten Dunst at the Paris and Stockholm premieres of - you guessed it - Spider-Man 3. It's funny how she just revealed her character Mary Jane had to have her breasts enhanced. From the looks of these two dresses she sure knows how to play up a variety of different looks with her chest. I think her overall look is a lot more flattering in the red dress.

Kirsten Gets A Little Extra Support As MJ

Kirsten took a little break to shop in Paris this week before doing yet another Spider-Man 3 premiere. We don't blame her for taking some time off - the cast has definitely been putting in overtime circling the globe. Kirsten recently admitted in one of her many interviews that she was asked to be a little bustier as Mary Jane. Here's more:

On MJ's breasts:
“I had to wear a padded bra on this movie, but I get it. It’s OK. It’s part of the thing....I didn’t feel like it was sexist or anything. I embraced my Mary Jane boobs!
On changing up her character:
“We try to be true to the books but also to alternate and interpret them in our own way. If I was Mary Jane from the comics I’d be walking around in lingerie saying, ‘Hey tiger’ all day.”

She's got a point there. As for her bigger chest, not sure how they're going to explain MJ's sudden growth spurt, or are we not supposed to notice? I guess we'll know in a short week when Spidey finally hits theaters in the US! I for one can't wait!

Is Spider-Man 3 Too Much?

Tobey and the gang have been everywhere this week promoting Spider-Man 3. In just the past 10 days they've managed to have premieres in Tokyo, London, Rome, Berlin and here they are now in Moscow! In all they plan to have 9 premieres! That's not even counting all the other ways they're marketing the film, like Spider-Man 3 week in NY, trailers, magazine covers, interviews and everything else. So what do you think? Are they overdoing it? Source

If you're tired of Spider-Man 3 premieres, good news. Only 5 more to go! The cast hit up Berlin for their fourth premiere in 10 days. No wonder Kirsten and James didn't make it, at some point you have to take a night off! Tobey’s looking fresh and we’re betting that has something to do with his entourage of 10 flying around the world with him including wife Jennifer, baby Ruby and a personal chef who cooks all his vegetarian meals. With his crazy schedule he has to keep his energy up!

So Much Spider-Man 3, So Little Time

The cast of Spider-Man 3 had so many events to attend that they had to divide and conquer. Kirsten and James showed off their day-to-night looks, going casual for a photocall and formal for the actual premiere in Madrid. We can't help but notice how much happier Kirsten is snuggling up to James than to Tobey. Peter Parker would be heartbroken.

I'm not tired of Spider-man 3 events yet (must repeat to myself)! I can't be, cause they haven't even started doing anything stateside yet. The movie's US premiere is next Wednesday in Queens (Peter Parker's hometown) as part of the Tribeca Film Festival, so you better believe that Kirsten has a few wardrobe bags full of fancy dresses up her sleeve. Yesterday in Rome she had to debut two totally different looks (both of which I'm digging, despite all the haterade she gets on the Internet). Hey, at least she's always flanked by her cute cute costars!

Drunk Dunst Intoxicates Johnny

Kirsten and Johnny are back together and taking their love to the post Spider-man premiere party. Kirsten walked the red carpet alone, dodging questions about Johnny but she did admit she has a soft-spot for British men: "They're very charming – the accent is cute!" After the show she changed and met up with her man. They headed to Borrell's favorite pub, the Hawley Arms where they apparently had quite a few drinks. Dunst may be keeping quiet about Johnny but he certainly doesn't have a problem confessing his love for Kirsten. People reports:

"I'm not hiding anything. We met in Los Angeles. We were hanging out at South by Southwest and we've been hanging out ever since," the rocker, 26, told PEOPLE at an L.A. press event for Razorlight's new single, "America."

What's it like dating someone in the public eye? "I don't think there's any rules behind it. If you fall you fall. In life that's what you do," he said. "You follow the things that you can't resist and you go where you go. That's falling in love."

Wow. He really sounds enamored by drunk Dunst. Good for her. We bet we will be seeing lots more of the two as they try to make this long distance thing work.

Spider-Man 3 World Tour

The cast of Spider-Man 3 are making their way around the globe. They were in Japan last week for the Tokyo premiere and after this London show they're off to Italy for the third of nine premieres! Hopefully they love watching the film! Kirsten's even said that Spider-Man 3 is "the best collaboration of them all." We certainly hope so considering the rumor that it cost the studio $500 million!

Kirsten Dunst has hopped from Japan to London promoting Spider-Man 3, but the festivities are getting into high gear this side of the pond, too. Spider-Man Week is in full effect in Manhattan (are you finalizing your Spider-Man rap, New Yorkers?). Yay! Wheee! Apparently all this fuss over the movie is costing the studio a pretty penny. Like $500 million pretty pennies, which would make it the most expensive movie ever. Uh, I hope it's good?

Kirsten and Bryce Are Summery, Spider-man-y Cool

Spider-man 3 costars Kirsten Dunst and Bryce Dallas Howard got cute and goofy for the May cover of Jane Magazine. While off-screen the girls look like good pals, their cinematic counterparts vie for Peter Parker's attention in Spidey 3. Clearly there's no use in resisting Spider-mania these days (try as I might), so I'm just gonna enjoy the ride. I gotta admit though, seeing these new, previously unseen clips from the movie make it seem pre-ty cool. Fine, I'll be sleeping outside in my full lycra Spider-man suit starting next week. No biggie.

Spider-man 4 Outlook Gets Hazier

It may be Wedding Season on the Sugar network, but something tells us that Spidey season is here as well. The stars of Spider-man 3 were promoting again in Tokyo yesterday. James and Kirsten ditched their formal attire, but Tobey kept it swanky in his suit. We can't wait to find out if the movie lives up to all the hype, especially since this may be our last chance. Yesterday we told you that Tobey may not be into another sequel, and it turns out that director Sam Raimi is interested in taking on another epic project of his own.

Never fear, Spider-man fans, there's hope for more Spidey yet. It looks like everyone's favorite arachnid superhero is coming to Broadway! While we're not sure exactly how that one will turn out, U2 is involved so Spidey had better get working on his jazz hands!

Tobey May Be Waving Bye-Bye To Spider-Man

The stars of Spider-Man 3 got their very first look at their much anticipated sequel in Tokyo last night. Yummy James Franco looked marvelous and Tobey looked dapper while Kirsten looked sweet yet kinda like she's trying to hide something in all those pink layers. Based on the record-breaking success of the first two Spiderman flicks, we're willing to bet that the latest installment won't disappoint at the box office. However, big bucks won't be enough to get Tobey to reprise his role as Spidey. Here's more:

"I feel like this film is kind of a natural conclusion to a lot of stuff that's happened in the first two movies," Maguire said.

"It kind of feels like a natural trilogy," the 31-year-old actor said, adding that he's open to donning the Spider-Man suit again "if a story presents itself, if we come up with something we feel deserves to be told."

"I'm not going to make them just because they've been successful," Maguire said.

We've heard this before and it's completely understandable and respectable that Tobey may just want to quit while the Spider-man franchise is still ahead however he plays a fabulous Peter Parker.

Tobey Gives Spider-Man 3 Two Thumbs Up

Spider-Man 3 isn't coming out until May but the boys are already busy promoting it. Tobey, James Franco and producer Avi Arad held a press conference in Toyko to talk all about the highly-anticipated third film. The boys had lots of fun joking around with each other and the reporters. When Tobey was asked what he did to prepare for his role he said "[I] just wanted to make sure I was looking really sexy." Of course, Tobey had some serious stuff to say about the webbed crusader and his dorky yet lovable counterpart as well. Here's more: (SPOILER ALERT, but probably not anything you don't know anyway)

"I do like Peter very much, he's become a big part of my life. The 'Spider-Man' world has become a big part of my life. I'm very fond of the world and the team of people that it takes to put the movies together. I've had such a good time so far on this ride. I just love my experiences and I love the world and the character."

"In terms of what's happening with Peter in this film, he goes into the film a little differently in that he's still Peter Parker and, except for his relationship with Harry Osborn, everything is his life is going very well. He's feeling that confidence, the public is adoring him and he's feeling that and letting it get to his head and he gets a little arrogant and cocky and it starts to get him into trouble. It really is funny behavior for Peter."

This doesn't sound like a man who's thinking about quitting the franchise. Hopefully his love for Spider-Man will convince him to continue donning his spidey suit in many more films to come!

A Grain of Hope for Spider-Man 4

Tobey is hard at work on Spider-Man 3, resuming his role as the lovable and geekalicious Peter Parker/heroic Spider-Man. We were so bummed last year when Tobey announced that he was planning to hang up his Spidey suit for good after the third installment, but don't lose all hope yet. Lucky for us Columbia Pictures execs are negotiating with writer David Koepp to pen the fourth installment of the franchise.

They are just in the beginning of the process, however, and for it all to come together they would have to negotiate new contracts with Tobey, Kirsten, and James Franco. Tobey and Kirsten have already said they're keen to ditch the movie, but without the two main actors, it just wouldn't be the same. Just imagine how the Spidey fans will stand up and revolt - or at least blog and complain about it a lot on message boards. Believe me, it wouldn't be pretty. Tobey took in a Lakers game this week in L.A but it looks like he left his pregnant fiancee Jennifer at home. Last night Columbia pictures aired the new 2 1/2 minute trailer for Spider-man 3 on like every network and online entity that Viacom has anything to do with. In case you missed it, check it out below. Trailers are such a tease. We are so psyched to see Spidey 3 but we have to wait until May 4th, 2007. Boo!
