Enchanted took the top spot at the box office for the second week in a row, followed by This Christmas and Beowulf. The holiday movie season will be in full swing next weekend with the release of The Golden Compass and Atonement, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top then. — BuzzSugar

Celebs Brave The Rain In The Name of Sir Elton John

A very rainy night in NY didn't stop throngs of celebs from turning out for Sir Elton John's 60th Birthday Bash at Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine. It did, however, cause Donatella Versace to eat it hard on the stairs going into the party. Rough. Other revelers included an under dressed Kid Rock (with new girlfriend, model May Anderson), Anne Hathaway, The Osbournes, Liv, and Kiefer -- quite the motley crew, and that's just the beginning. No stories, yet, of full crowd singalongs, but I have to believe there was at least one rousing rendition of Benny and the Jets.

The Osbournes Show Their Holiday Spirit

The Osbournes celebrated the true meaning of Christmas this week by throwing a holiday party for charity. While it's supposed to be a happy event, Kelly doesn't seem to be sharing her parents' Xmas spirit. Luckily, guests were in a festive mood. They were asked beforehand to bring presents to be donated to children's charities and many made last minute runs to Harrods for their presents. Elton John and Simon Cowell were among guests who brought gifts for the party. Simon, however, obviously misread the invitation. Instead of bringing a toy, he chose a set of fine cut crystal glasses. Just what an underprivileged child wants to see under the tree!

Sharon Osbourne's New Role (Kind of Like the Old One)

Kelly got glammed up for her mom's premiere of It's A Boy Girl Thing in London last night. This is probably Sharon's biggest role to date. Besides doing an episode of Will & Grace and voice over for Garfield Two, she usually just plays herself. However, this new role is not much of a stretch either - she plays a bossy foul-mouthed housewife. The film is produced by Sharon's friends Elton John and David Furnish and is about about two rival teenagers (a boy and a girl) who wake up one morning to find they've switched bodies. Here's more:

[Sharon] says she doesn't have any plans to reinvent herself as the next Meryl Streep..... "I loved every minute of doing this, but I don't think this is the beginning of a new film career," she said. "It was just so great to work with my friends, to do this with them."

She's definitely come a long way from her reality show days, but it's good that she's keeping her head about her. For more pics just

Sharon Osbourne must have something new to promote. The MTV reality star went on Howard Stern to talk trash about Madonna and her recent adoption. In fact, she compares Madge's adoption to purchasing a new LV purse. Wow. We think Sharon can be a riot but sometimes she just wants to cause controversy to promote her book. Here's what Sharon had to say about Madonna & David:

“Please give me a break, it is like getting a Louis Vuitton handbag.

It is a crock of s**t. If she wants to help the kid she should have got the father a little trade going, a fruit stand or something like that and built him a mud hut.

If the kid is sick then get him a doctor, what was the father supposed to do, he can’t read or write.

She should have left him in his own culture, that is what I say.

Madonna should have given the money to an orphanage, got them a 24-hour paramedic.

She bought a baby for God’s sake.”
