This (mainly) vintage Carrie ensemble was one of my favorites in the Sex and the City movie. It's also one of the hardest to copy. I did my best, but had to change the color story. Instead of mixing green florals, which costume designer Patricia Field did with the vintage dress and coat, I found some lovely yellow floral pieces. Still cute, yes?

ICYMI, we were treated to a very special advanced screening of the fabulous Sex and the City movie on Wednesday, followed by a fancy afterparty. The Sugar girls dressed to the nines and showed off their best red carpet poses — can you guess which pretty girl represents each site? From the decor to the drinks to the food (Kara's Cupcakes and Lotus Vodka cosmos, yum!), it was definitely an evening to remember. Check out the video of how the "Party" planning came together. The perfect icing on the cake was that winner CarrieFrances celebrated right along with us! We also met many of our other top local team users, and we want to thank everyone for making the night so special. Now that the movie is out in theaters, you can have a big bash of your own — but be sure to read what Buzz thought about the movie first!

The gorgeous women of Sex and the City followed their pink carpet premiere with a star-studded after-party at NYC's MoMa last night. The fab foursome continued to pose together (do you think SJP looked better than LL in that Nina Ricci dress?) as Mario Cantone had fun with some sailors and Jennifer Hudson showed off her second dress of the evening. Even though the night was mostly about the ladies, SJP was accompanied by her proud husband Matthew Broderick, while Candace Bushnell and Anna Wintour brought their men, Charles Askegaard and Shelby Bryan. In true SATC style, the fun times rolled into an after-after-party at The Carlyle hotel. The ladies may have grown up, but they obviously still know how to have a great time.

Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night. Love 'em or not, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall glittered in their metallic dresses on a pink carpet that was covered with more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals. SJP looked amazing in a very familiar dress (hello, LL in Bazaar superhero photo shoot). Chris Noth and more costars came out, as well as some of NYCs most stylish trendsetters like Ashley Olsen and Anna Wintour (looking perfect as usual). New theme song artist Fergie got girlie, while Jason Lewis acted goofy sticking his tongue out for the cameras. Fans are so excited for the film that they paid big bucks to attempt to attend the premiere last night. Seriously, big bucks. Clearly this weekend belongs to the girls in the city, so move over Indy!

The fabulous foursome from Sex and the City hit Berlin today in yet another set of gorgeous gowns. Between all these premieres, I can't even imagine all the amazing dresses we'll be seeing. Only a few weeks left before our beloved SATC hits NYC and the rest of the world, but there are magazine covers galore between now and then. From testing your skills on all the geeky gadgets throughout the seasons to Fab chatting with new addition Jennifer Hudson, there are weeks of fun anticipation left between now and the theater. Here are highlights from the EW cover story:

On where the movie starts: "It can't be just about wanton lust — that's not the truth about these women anymore," she explains. "The top of the movie is like a dollop of cream — delicious imagery and scant narrative. It just tells you what we've been doing, and then: boom. It's a recovery operation. The movie goes to a very dark place that we've never done before."
On what it means to her: "There's a lot at stake for me personally," says Parker. "I want it to do well, but the bigger story for me here is that I want the people who hold the purse strings to believe that there are female audiences, that it's worth their money."

In March we got a peek at Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth at work on this Annie Leibovitz photoshoot, and now here's the gorgeous final product! The duo shot this spread for June Vogue, and judging from how much chemistry they have, it wasn't hard for these two to get back into their Sex and the City characters for the photos. In the issue, SJP discusses fashion, style, and one of the few things she and Carrie Bradshaw have in common. Here are highlights:

On how she is similar to Carrie: "We will both try anything. I will try anything for Carrie, and I will try anything for me. In real life I never dressed the way she dressed, nor would I. I grew up in a house of matching. You know, our hair ribbons matched our dress, and our pinafore matched our socks. You didn't clash colors. What I learned by being around Pat Field was there shouldn't be rules in fashion. Things shouldn't go together. And that's the thing that really changed in my own world and the way I choose to dress."
On being trendy: "Aren't we all supposed to be a little bit the victim of trends? I can look back at pictures of myself with the great assurance that I will be embarrassed by about 60 percent of them. This is the nature of fashion—admiring the wrong girl, you know, looking at the wrong picture, wishing you were somebody else. And that's the developmentally correct thing."
On Carrie's style: "I would wear anything as Carrie Bradshaw if I thought it would be good for the story. The bits and pieces, and the stuff people object to. And that's Carrie—hits and misses mean nothing to her."

Judging from her hat at the London premiere of the movie last night, SJP has more than a little of Carrie's style in her. The cast of the Sex and the City movie stopped by Oprah to chat about fashion, their lives, and of course that amazingly anticipated film on the episode that aired today. Oprah gushed about the movie too, urging women everywhere to make a girls' night out to see it — as if anyone needs any convincing about that. In the true spirit of Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica couldn't resist comparing her enthusiasm to shoes, saying, "Excited is like a flip-flop to a high heel…it doesn't even describe [it]!"

While we're wishing May would move faster so we can finally check out the film, Oprah picked a group of die hard SATC fans for the film's very first screening. The catch was that the audience was only treated to 3/4 of the movie, and will have to wait until May 30th to see the ending, just like the rest of us who aren't lucky enough to attend the premiere. Plus, SJP herself swore them all to secrecy about it saying, "You can brag, but you can't blog." Those are some lucky ladies!
