Now that the election is over, Scarlett Johansson is back to her life as an actress, which means gracing the cover of the December issue of Allure. She's promoting The Spirit, but it seems Scarlett was just as interested in discussing Lindsay Lohan. In the interview, she has a couple of things to say about her fellow starlet as well as Ryan and her favorite director Woody Allen. Here are highlights:

On the story that Lindsay Lohan wrote profanities about Scarlett in a NYC bathroom a few years ago: "That's what I heard. I don’t know what the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar — I mean, shockingly so, like, 'Whoa, what, who are you?' I really don’t know that person. I only met her, like, three times."
On inspiring Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl": "That's flattering, but my lips are kind of taken."
On being Woody Allen's muse: "I don't inspire that work that Woody does. I'm just lucky to fit into the 'young woman' category in his movies. But make no mistake, I know that if it wasn't me, it would be someone else."
On how she started dating Ryan Reynolds: "Nobody knows. It's private. It's our story."

Scarlett and Ryan have definitely done a good job of keeping their romance pretty secret, but maybe we'll get a few more details on their rumored second wedding celebration.

The recently married actress has been a vocal and occasionally controversial Obama supporter, and she chatted with the magazine about her experiences on the campaign trail and what makes her happy. Here's more:

On campaigning at colleges: "It was amazing that these kids are just so well-informed and so interested. There were really obscure questions and debates that they wanted to lead — I couldn’t believe it! And it was amazing how many of these kids turned out. We made the environment friendly. I’m 23, and all of these kids are probably between 16 to 24. They’re my peers. . . we’re all connected by the same issues."
On what makes her happy: "Things that make me happy are being with my friends and family, and also things like a challenge — using my brain, you know? That makes me feel good. When I’m challenged and when I feel like I want to get to the bottom of something, when I’m engaged, that makes me happy. Being engaged in something or bettering myself in some way."

Scarlett's just one of the many celebrities to throw their two cents into the political ring, and while Obama is no longer the main man in her life, she's ready to do what she can to support him before Election Day on November 4th.

The steamy stars of Vicky Cristina Barcelona did not disappoint, bringing a little bit of glamor to Hollywood last night for its big red carpet premiere. It's hard to say which of the lovely ladies looked most spectacular between Penelope in black, Salma in white, and Scarlett very much living up to her name. Night and day from her Teen Choice dress, but boo on no Ryan Reynolds again. Javier, sigh, so hot, enough said. Woody was there to stand with his exceptionally beautiful cast. At a press conference over the weekend he talked about the movie's hot scenes, saying, "They just kiss and kiss and kiss . . . And then when it's over, that's it. Lunch! And there you go. They're actors. There's nothing to it. They're kissing for a couple minutes, there, and I watch, and then it's over. And we move on to the next thing." Something tells me the viewers won't be so nonchalant watching all those scenes up on the big screen.

Scarlett Johansson spent some time in the wilderness in a photoshoot reminiscent of her new album cover contemplating life and men for Paste magazine. Sure, she looks cute in that red dress, but we're too busy trying to picture her wedding gown already. In the article titled "My Five Dads" Scarlett keeps quiet about her new fiancé Ryan Reynolds (boo), but she dishes on the men she considers father figures: Bill Murray, Woody Allen, Tom Waits, Barack Obama, and Bob Dylan. Here are highlights:

On Bill Murray: “Bill brings an integrity to the work because he really personalizes it,” she says. “He shared his own kind of wisdom in that film. Some of his lines were things he had written, very poignant moments like when he says, ‘You get older, you have kids….’ He’s reminiscing with this character. I think a lot of people related to his character because it was really coming from him."
On Barack Obama: “It’s been so exciting to get out there and talk to kids—and I say ‘kids’ meaning my peers—about why I appreciate Barack. He’s confronting health-care issues that affect young people. You know, most of my friends don’t have insurance. They’re working as photo assistants and stuff like that. These kids on the campaign trail asking questions, they are so well-informed. They’re asking really specific policy questions. It impacts whether they decide to vote for Clinton or Obama, or decide to register as independent or support McCain. They have real concerns, and they want answers. I love that part of it. So that’s a whole other aspect of this life that’s been fun and inspiring.”
On Woody Allen: "I don’t know why relationships between men and women are always pigeon-holed into being some kind of push-and-pull for sexual power. I’m always kind of weirded out when I’m interviewed by people who say, ‘Gosh! Woody must be in love with you.’ It’s like, ‘f*cking expand your mind.’ We have a great friendship between us and I have such a fondness for him as a person. I can appreciate his quirks.”
