Lindsay Lohan spent her Labor Day weekend shopping the family drama pain away with her friends and joining Samantha for a Sunday night DJ gig in Atlantic City. Along with all the back and forth with her father last week, there was the sad news that his father, Lindsay's grandfather passed away. Shortly after, Lindsay blogged some more about Michael taking the time to mourn rather than talk about her and rumor has it that she skipped the wake outside the city this weekend.

Lindsay Lohan took a break from filming Ugly Betty in NYC yesterday to unwind with cigarettes and Samantha in NYC after the massive amount of drama that her father has been fueling in the past couple of days. After LL lashed out at him on her MySpace blog, her father answered back, blaming Dina for his suspicions about Samantha and saying that he's already got a TV special in the works to expose Dina for being a hypocrite. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were bundled up in the late NYC Summer, arriving back at their hotel last night. The duo have been laying pretty low since their mom dinner over the weekend, but of course, Lindsay's family never lets things get too quiet. Michael Lohan is speaking out about his daughter's relationship saying that he thinks Lindsay is drinking again and Samantha is to blame.

The foursome went to Bar Pitti in NYC showing once again how close the two families have become. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson spent their afternoon in LA doing the usual — shopping, lunch at The Ivy, Cheez-It and cigarette run, then back to more shopping. None of the recent rumors about a maybe Michel Phelps crush, possible flirting with boys, or running into all sorts of exes seem to be getting in the way of LL and SR's relationship.
