While one star of Australia was elsewhere in town at the women of the year awards, Hugh Jackman got dressed up to honor director Baz Luhrmann at the MoMA. The handsome actor was just one of the stars out looking fabulous alongside Jessica Biel in a simple LBD and Rachel Weisz in one with flattering pink accents. Maggie Gyllenhaal draped herself in fur — can you tell if it's faux or not? — while Peter kept the fuzziness on his face.

While she can pull out sexy like the best of 'em on the red carpet, Maggie Gyllenhaal was back to her usual casual self home with Peter Sarsgaard in Brooklyn yesterday. Miss Maggie's recent style choices even scored her a spot on Grazia magazine's best dressed list this year partially in thanks to all those The Dark Knight premieres. While it must have been fun to travel around the world showing off that amazing record breaking movie, Maggie looks pretty happy to be home with her family.

Just one night after her big Vicky Cristina Barcelona premiere in LA, Penelope Cruz was in another long black dress for the Elegy screening in NYC last night. She left the rest of her gorgeous costars, including Javier, behind for this one, but had plenty of glamorous party friends. Peter Sarsgaard had his costar and friend Patricia Clarkson filling in while Maggie was elsewhere.

The long anticipated premiere of The Dark Knight finally arrived last night, and the stars dressed accordingly to the movie's title. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, and Lauren Conrad all looked gorgeous in muted tones, while Christian Bale continued to prove that he looks hot in any color. Of course, there was one very important star missing but Heath Ledger's family and friends like Naomi Watts were there in his place, while his castmates had plenty to say in tribute to the late actor.

Little Ramona looked like such a big girl in her adorable bright red sundress enjoying the LA sun with her parents Maggie and Peter yesterday. There's nothing quite like a ride on dad's shoulders to put that big old smile on her face. Her parents stayed more in the neutrals with their looks, but were every bit the gorgeous family walking around Venice Beach.
