Owen Hits Hawaii While Jen Starts Promoting Marley

Owen Wilson spent his Halloween weekend in Hawaii, on the Maui beach with a bikini-clad friend yesterday. While he's been relaxing and staying out of the spotlight for the most part, his Marley and Me costar Jennifer Aniston has been singing his praises. She said, "Owen Wilson is so divine in this film. I've never seen him play a part like this. He was a man; he was a husband; he was a father. And I feel like, how brave of him, to walk through the year that he walked through, and still show up so wholeheartedly for the film." The movie trailer looks funny and sweet, and now we're even more excited to see Jen and Owen playing parents together on the big screen.

Owen has been hard at work on Marley and Me, and now he's set to film Night at the Museum 2 right away. Considering some of the other ways Owen has spent his free time post-Kate Hudson, going straight into another project is probably a good thing.

Without co-star Jennifer Aniston around, it looks like Owen Wilson was left to handle the doggy business by himself on the set of Marley and Me in West Chester, PA on Thursday. Lucky for Owen, since he's filming just outside Philadelphia he isn't too far from all his pals up in NYC — and just last weekend he went up to have dinner with Woody Harrelson and David Blaine. Since he's been working on this movie since early March, hopefully soon he can take a break to get back to his beachy ways.

Guess we'll have to wait until the movie comes out to see what the actual party was like, but judging from these photos of the happy couple frolicking in the snow, it seems like a pretty romantic scene. From the sand to the snow, these two have seen a lot together, but we'd be even more excited to see one of these two walk down the aisle for real.

A fake snow covered lawn in Philadelphia is a far cry from filming on the beach in Miami, but Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson looked like they were having a blast on the set of Marley and Me this afternoon. Despite the springtime weather, the costars were all bundled up to shoot their scenes with their on screen doggie. While we were sad to hear about yet another breakup for Owen and Kate Hudson, he looked to be in good spirits on set. Sun loving Jennifer must miss her Miami deck chair, but the good news is her new location is a whole lot closer to her man John Mayer in NYC.

Owen and Vince Bring the Party Crashing to Miami

With Owen Wilson's usual bike partner, Kate Hudson, up north filming, the perfect substitute made his way to Miami this weekend: his BFF and often costar Vince Vaughn. Not sure Vince looks entirely comfortable on that bike, but he's a good sport for going along for the ride (get it!?). On Friday, Owen spent the evening out at the Shore Club with Richie Sambora and Dylan McDermott, but by Saturday it was all about Vince time, apparently partying at Casa Tua until about 5:30 a.m.. Owen's Marley and Me costar and Vince's ex, Jennifer Aniston, didn't join the boys but was busy making headlines of her own after being spotted dining with John Mayer. Interesting timing — I might be the only one, but I'd love to see a Jen and Vince reunion. Until that never happens, seeing these two boys together is fun enough.

Jennifer Aniston was still showing off that adorable 90s-ish style — with the cutoffs and Keds — on the set of Marley and Me in Miami yesterday. They were surrounded by canine companions including the lucky doggie that gets to play adult Mr. Marley himself. I'll be surprised if the actors don't leave this movie with some new four legged friends for themselves. Jennifer may just be an actress in this film, but with her new production company, Echo she'll get to be more than just a pretty face in front of the camera. As long as it doesn't mean giving her up as a leading lady, we'll be here to cheer on all of her endeavors.

We've already heard about how she's been enjoying all the benefits of shooting in Florida from the margaritas to sunbathing, and we can add touring Miami's restaurants to her list of off-camera activities. Some of her local favorites seem to be Michael's Genuine Food & Drink, where she went for drinks with friends on Saturday, and Cafe Sambal. It may not be the same as A-List parties in LA, but the Miami life seems to be treating Ms. Aniston well.

It's hard to beat animated family comedies like Horton but between poor reviews and lack of promotions, they couldn't have expected much. Owen may be ready to get back to work but perhaps he's not quite prepared for sitting in the hot seat for interviews. Can't blame him, but we welcome the day the funny guy gets back out there.

Last year at about this time, these two blond sweethearts were one of my favorite couples and they're already regaining the spot. Hopefully this is just the beginning of many more sunny sightings of the duo — maybe she can even help keep him in a better mood while he's in Miami filming. Owen Wilson, Eric Dane and the adorable movie puppy were back on the set of Marley and Me in Miami yesterday. It's been a lot of fun for the stars both on and off the set so far, but apparently Owen Wilson had an unpleasant experience at the Shore Club last Friday. He was told there wouldn't be any media at the party, and when he got there he found out that wasn't the truth and apparently, went nuts on a photographer. It's hard to imagine laid back Owen creating such a scene, but after all he's been through with the media last year, we can't say we blame him for wanting some privacy these days.

Miami has gotten a whole lot hotter these days with Eric Dane and Owen Wilson filming scenes on the beach for Marley and Me. It doesn't hurt that one of their costars is the bestselling magazine cover girl, Jennifer Aniston. Seriously, how does she look so flawless in anything she wears? The threesome are apparently becoming quite the BFFs while working hard all day and finding time for lychee martinis at night. Their costar, the adorable yellow Lab, also made his first appearance since filming began. Jennifer is quite the dog lover and even has her Corgi-Terrier mix dog, Norman, with her on this trip. Perhaps those two had a playdate of their own.

I know, I know they're just in Miami filming Marley and Me and there are a million reasons why they would never date (Kate Hudson, Vince Vaughn to name two), but how cute of a couple would they make? Eh, I'm sure there will be the rumors before this movie wraps. Side note: no one in the world looks as excellent in just jean shorts and a plaid shirt. The on screen duo filmed a scene where they had to fix a flat yesterday afternoon sporting their blondie beach hair and vacation outfits. I have a feeling their chemistry will be awesome bringing the beloved book to the big screen.
