Teen Choice Awards Aren't Just for the Young

We may have already checked out the beautiful ladies and casual men on the blue carpet but we're going to have to wait until later tonight to watch all the action that happened during the actual Teen Choice Awards Show. Miley Cyrus was the host who also performed along with Mariah Carey who once again dressed the part. The night was full of youngins' like the Jonas Brothers, High School Musical stars, and the cast of Gossip Girl but we were excited to see grown-ups like the Beckhams, Will Smith, and Adam Sandler. These A-listers aren't afraid to get goofy or show their gratitude for their young fans. Pretty Girls Are Splashes of Color on Teen Choice Blue Carpet

Bright, bold and sassy was the theme of the night for the ladies on the Teen Choice Awards blue carpet, but unlike those casual (though cute) boys they got a little dressy for the occasion. The girls stayed away from the dramatic hair and makeup — check out Bella's love it or hate it polls here — though kept things exciting with their dresses of choice. There was a pretty even split between the short and flirty from the likes of Rachel Bilson, Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson and the long and flowy from Lauren Conrad and Fergie. CW and NBC Take TCAs Through the Weekend

The fun rolled on this weekend at the TCAs! After the panels on Saturday and Sunday, came last night's big party. The crowd included old favorites from The Office, new all-stars like the cast of Kath and Kim, and a few select Heroes, including Hayden and Milo, who kept their distance. The Bravo reality stars kept us laughing all night at the soiree. Another special treat was the beautiful Bar Refaeli who was there to promote her new show Ironic Iconic America. She discussed the show, favorite designers, and just being a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl at heart — more on all that later.

As for the panels, the CW kicked things off Saturday with new guilty pleasures all around including 90210, the new Privileged and Stylista — think The Devil Wears Prada gone reality. Sunday the adorable cast of Friday Night Lights hit the stage to discuss their third season and taking the show to DirecTV. We're sad to see our favorite TV shows head to hiatus for another Summer, but luckily the stars of the small screen are still coming out to play in Hollywood. Last night Alyson Hannigan, Minka Kelly, and Taylor Momsen got dolled up for the 36th Annual FiFi Awards in NYC. The ladies helped honor the night's big winners, which included Daisy Marc Jacobs and Intimately Beckham Women. We can see that they looked gorgeous in their springtime dresses, and something tells us that the lovely ladies smelled just as sweet.

NBC's Beautiful Faces Celebrate in NYC

Many of our favorite NBC stars both current and future came out at NYC's Rockefeller Center last night for the NBC Universal Experience party. Ah, can't wait to have all these friendly faces back on the small screen — too bad it's not until the fall. John Krasinski was sporting an ill-advised beard while thankfully Zachary Levi got rid of his. Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly looked adorable as always while next season's new Kath and Kim's Selma Blair showed off her always impeccable fashion sense. Jimmy Fallon, our official Conan replacement flashed a peace sign making his way down the red carpet. All the Kids in Hollywood Love Kanye

Kanye West got to spend a little time unwinding from his "Glow in the Dark" Tour with an after-party sponsored by Absolut 100 at Goa in LA last night. The club is proving to be a new favorite hotspot for the Hills kids, so naturally Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner were in the house — joined by former Laguna Beach alums Kristin Cavallari and Jason Wahler. Paris and Benji kept to themselves, but of course Ms. Hilton couldn't resist flashing a little leg for the cameras. As usual they looked lovey dovey and super cozy, but she recently assured us that there's no double wedding in the works for her and Nicole, even though she and Benji are "happy, comfortable and really in love" after celebrating their two-month anniversary.

Buffy, Chuck, and Dillon Football Hit the Paley Festival

This year's Paley Festival in LA has brought out some of our favorite TV stars new, old, and somewhere in between. This week after the Apatow/Pushing Daisies fun, the crews from Friday Night Lights and Chuck both took the stage. Mr. Zachary Levi could use a haircut, but I guess he doesn't have to just yet, since Chuck isn't coming back until next Fall. And speaking of coming back — yay! — the FNL cast says they are very hopeful about being able to return for season three — check out more on those panels here. The biggest news of the festival, however, has to be the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion with adorable Sarah Michelle Gellar. Everyone other than Alyson was out to answer questions from some of the show's most diehard fans. Buzz was lucky enough to be in the audience, so don't miss her take on all the excitement.

Friday Night Lights Still Shining For Minka Kelly

Great news for Minka Kelly — so let's skip the whole here she is walking her dog in LA yesterday bit and go straight to the good stuff. Friday Night Lights may (fingers crossed!) be coming back for a third season. Most of the show's fans thought that it was dead in the water after the lackluster and totally depressing abrupt (due to the writers' strike) end to season two. The new season would be thanks to some deal NBC made with DirecTV, the details of which are still a mystery, but no matter what I'm happy. Yay for more Minka and yay for more FNL.

Stars Show Off Their Domino Skills For the Art of Elysium

Last night, Hollywood took its obsession with playing dominos to a new level at a benefit tournament for the Art of Elysium at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Ashton and Demi partied away (despite the hepatitis scare) with the help of Rumer, who actually looked very glamorous out on the red carpet with her mom and stepdad. Kate Hudson was glowing in gold and, despite what the media (and many of you) think, wasn't showing any signs of a baby bump. New mom Salma made another night of it away from her precious Valentina, but she did offer congratulations to her friend J Lo, saying, "I'm sure she'll be a wonderful mom." It's probably only a matter of time before J Lo's twins are challenging Salma's little girl to their own games of dominos.

Minka Kelly Gets Saucy Before Final (?) FNL

The adorable (and well-dressed) Minka Kelly stopped by fuse's The Sauce yesterday afternoon, I guess to help promote the final new episode of Friday Night Lights which airs tomorrow. Last week's show was an emotional doozy (so, so sad) and I'm kinda worried that this one won't provide much closure at all. Plus, considering the writers' strike, not to mention the show's not-so-stellar ratings, this may be the last episode of the show ever. Ugh, boo. Even if the excellent FNL may be coming to a close, hopefully Miss Minka will get another acting gig soon so we'll see her on screen rather than just watching the runway.

Anne Hathaway's Fashion Week Fears

Fashion Week's favorite ladies got all dressed up again to see what their favorite designers had to offer. Minka, Mandy, Molly and Ginnifer were among the many fashionistas who checked out Betsey Johnson, Peter Som, Jill Stuart and more. Anne Hathaway looked very comfortable striking a pose, but she did admit that she still gets a little nervous. She said, "There is something that transports me back to seventh grade when I’m at a fashion show. You feel like you’re at the weekend party, and you’re like, ‘Am I wearing everything alright? Did I do my hair right?’ And it’s silly because it’s a lot of fun, and there shouldn’t be any pressure, but there is!”

Anne seems to be doing just fine for herself so far, but we'll be watching for any faux-pas from her during the rest of the week. The cast of the best show you're not watching, Friday Night Lights, got together for a little party in Hollywood last night. Quite the group of lookers, eh? Adorable Minka Kelly and Aimee Teegarden both showed off their red carpet poses, though Miss Aimee could lose the jeans under her summer-y dress. Tim Riggins, er, Taylor Kitsch, steamed up the event with his scruff before sort of outing his friend Chase's relationship with Carrie Underwood (not like it was any big secret). I don't even really like long hair, but the boy makes it work. Meanwhile, Kyle Chandler can really do no wrong, ever. The show's on tonight, and there are still new episodes (well...two)! Seriously though, try it, you'll totally love it. I hear tonight is a real tear jerker.

Diamond Shows Are a Starlet's Best Friend

Some of our favorite ladies on television came out (and I'm sure they had to be dragged...) for the InStyle Diamond Fashion Show Preview Luncheon in Beverly Hills yesterday. Newly single Minka Kelly looked hot in white alongside Kristen Bell in a strapless number. Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester is kinda unrecognizable with that haircut, and she's still getting used to the red carpet, but I love me some Blair and she's looking so I'll let all that go. Minka Kelly's Body Is No Longer John Mayer's Wonderland

Minka Kelly was far away from Lyla Garrity's Dylan, Texas home and full of smiles out shopping in Beverly Hills on Monday. She's quickly becoming one of my favorite new starlets and it sounds like this PYT is back on the market. Apparently she broke up with John Mayer about a month ago, though they still hang out (and maybe even work out) frequently. Plus, we all know how John is with his break ups/make ups with his ladies, so we'll see if this cute couple is really over for good.

John Mayer and Minka Kelly kept it casual on Saturday grabbing lunch at Morgan's Cafe in LA. John looks pretty cute sipping on his espresso, but this isn't our favorite new and improved John Mayer look. The stories keep coming about John and all his ladies, but between lunches and video shoots, we have a feeling John and Minka are pretty into each other. Perhaps next year they'll even be one of our favorite new official couples.

John Mayer was out with guitar in hand early Sunday morning to shoot a music video overlooking Los Angeles. Minka Kelly was there to support her boy (maybe she'll make a cameo?) so I guess any rumors of dirty dancing with Cameron or hitting on Ricki Lake are no skin off her back. Fresh of scoring a Grammy nod for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, John performed a one-night-only acoustic show in LA over the weekend. He is so hot right now, and he so knows it. As for his girl, the new episode of Friday Night Lights left me pretty frustrated, anyone else feeling that?
