Mariah and Nick were hanging out at the World Music Awards last week, and they moved the party from Monaco to Mexico with a stop in Miami over the weekend. The couple is big on tropical vacations, and while Nick showed off his abs Mariah wasn't in the mood to strut her bikini body this time around. Next week they'll celebrate their first Thanksgiving together as man and wife, so we'll see if they continue their vacation or come back to the states for a more traditional celebration.

Hollywood Heats Up the World Music Awards

It was a star-studded night in Monaco on Sunday as celebrities got dressed up and headed overseas to the 2008 World Music Awards. As expected, Lindsay Lohan was no longer the host so Jesse Metcalf and Michelle Williams (the Destiny's Child one) took her place. Beyonce Knowles had her metal glove on while she performed and accepted an award and her sister, Solange, took the stage to sing as well. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon posed for the cameras while Chace Crawford presented a trophy to Kid Rock who won multiple times and performed as well. The big winners were Coldplay with three and Leona Lewis with two including best new artist and best pop female.

Nick Lights Mariah's Fire While She Sweetens Him Up

New York's finest, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, hosted a Halloween Eve Costume party at Marquee last night and had fun posing with a wardrobe change in the middle. The couple showed up to the party on a FDNY firetruck and then once inside changed into their milk and cookie outfits. Considering how Mariah dresses day-to-day, it's no surprise that she went super sexy for the holiday, but at least that one is a little more original. Last night the stars got cultured at the Whitney Museum American Art Gala in NYC. A beautiful Christina Ricci and Emma Roberts stayed on trend in their dark and stormy dresses while Nick and Mariah were red carpet ready as usual. Becki Newton lightened things up a little in her busy pattern, but from the color palette across the board the darker months have hit Manhattan. Donatella Versace helped throw the party and had some man candy on her arm, the face of her line Patrick Dempsey, for the night. The theme of this year's gala was "Whitney — Past, Present and Future" but seeing the star studded red carpet the art wasn't the only exciting sight last night.

Nick Cannon turned 28 today and Mariah got the fun started last night with a birthday party for him at Pure in Las Vegas. She slipped into a typically tiny black dress and put to rest any pregnancy rumors with her glass of wine as Nick played DJ and gave her plenty of shout outs. Their trip hasn't been all play though — the couple came to Vegas on Saturday to film Mariah's new music video for "I Stay in Love," which Nick directed. With Mariah now her own manager and putting her husband to work, it looks like these two are taking on more projects together other than just kissing for the cameras.

Stars Rock Their Fashion at Radio City Music Hall

The annual event helps kicks off NY Fashion Week and this year it also helped support Stand Up To Cancer. Beyonce debuted her $5 million 18-karat engagement ring before taking the stage in dazzling gold to perform with JT. Rihanna rocked a feather headdress while showing off her long legs on stage and Mariah Carey brought Nick to watch her perform. The Saturday night soiree was hosted by LA Reid and attended by celebrity guests including Gwyneth Paltrow, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Ripa and Samuel L. Jackson and got so wild it even included a visit from the cops after a noise complaint. From there, it was right off to yachting in Italy for the newlyweds — on a boat that apparently has lots of fitness equipment. Rightfully, it looks like this vacation was more about that wine in hand and splashing around than keeping those figures looking so great.

Nick had her hand and apparently all her things as he escorted her around town. The newlyweds just added another commitment to their itinerary as Mariah is set to perform at Fashion Rocks. She also says that she's gearing up for an elaborate tour to kick off this Winter. I think it's safe to assume that Mr. Mariah Carey will be there cheering his wife on the whole time as he's proven himself happy to do these days.

Mariah and Nick can't seem to separate for even a minute these days, but we have to admit that the photo of them together is pretty adorable. In the article, Mariah talks a little about her album and the man in her life. Here are highlights:

On how she let Nick save her: “When I was in an unhappy place in my life. I always wanted to be kidnapped. I just wanted a way out, but I didn't have one. [Nick] sort of kidnapped me and took me on a helicopter ride. Then he re-proposed."
On their impulsive wedding: "We really kept the whole relationship aspect of it quiet. Therefore, we didn't really 'date,' you know what I mean? Because that would have been not quiet or private. I think we didn't want to give people a chance to be like, 'What are you doing? What are you talking about? This is so quick…are you sure?'"
On her album: "Much of this album is just jokes, whether they're inside jokes or pretty overt; but some people don't want to actually acknowledge that I might tell a joke while singing a song or make it the actual hook.”

While some people may be skeptical of her relationship with Nick Cannon, it sounds like Mariah's career and love life are pretty blissful at the moment.

We caught a glimpse of her in one skimpy suit, but seeing those pink straps means that there's at least one costume change. Not that we would expect anything less from Mimi, especially now.
