We may have already checked out the beautiful ladies and casual men on the blue carpet but we're going to have to wait until later tonight to watch all the action that happened during the actual Teen Choice Awards Show. Miley Cyrus was the host who also performed along with Mariah Carey who once again dressed the part. The night was full of youngins' like the Jonas Brothers, High School Musical stars, and the cast of Gossip Girl but we were excited to see grown-ups like the Beckhams, Will Smith, and Adam Sandler. These A-listers aren't afraid to get goofy or show their gratitude for their young fans. Isla And Her Bump Keep The Party Going

Isla Fisher took her adorably pregnant self to an all girls party at producer Jennifer Klein's house this weekend, along with Marcia Cross and Hilary Swank. Obviously Isla's baby bump hasn't gotten in the way of her hitting up star-studded barbecues and baby showers - love it! She is definitely getting used to life in LA with all her famous friends. As cute as she is with Sacha by her side, it's clear that Isla gets along just fine by herself. Now if only the film industry could capitalize on her obvious star power and give her - and the rest of the potential leading funny ladies - some bigger roles.

The stars of I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry -- Jessica, Adam and Kevin -- were all in the house for last night's LA premiere. Jessica is obviously show-stoppingly gorgeous, but, call me crazy, something seems a touch off about the cut of her dress. I must admit the preview of this movie worries me, but I love me some Adam enough to give it a chance. Jessica walked the red carpet sans JT, but she was surrounded by comedic heavyweights like her costars, as well as household names like Ray Romano and Rob Schneider. The move doesn't open nationwide until next week, but in the meantime something tells me the toasts at that premiere celebration were classic.

Eva Longoria took a break from all her wedding planning to help launch Bebe Sport (and celebrate her 32nd birthday) in LA last night. Eva was named the face of the new branch of bebe in January, but this is the first big event where she's strutted her spokesmodel stuff. The Duff sisters were also out with a vengeance (and dare I say, Haylie is really stepping up her game) along with Katharine McPhee and Daisy Fuentes. Random! In other Eva news, her big day, July 7, is fast approaching (okay, fine, like 3.5 months) and she's obviously excited to gush about her plans. She even recently told Marie Claire that she wants her friend Kenny Chesney to play at the reception. Well played, Eva, cause now it could be totally awkward if he says no.

Heidi Says Seal Has Enough Awards

Heidi was one of the many stars who stopped by the InStyle Luxury Suites at the Four Seasons for some swagilicious stuff this weekend. Heidi seemed to have her mind more on her husband Seal than she did on the swag she was getting, and she had a few things to clear up about their trip to Aspen over the holidays and his GG nom. Here's more:

Heidi Klum told [Gatecrasher's Ben Widdicombe] she didn't join her snowboarding husband, Seal, on the slopes during the family's just-completed vacation in Aspen. "I just had a baby [Johan] six weeks ago; I was pushing the stroller," she joked.

Seal is nominated for best original song tonight for his contribution to "The Pursuit of Happyness." "He doesn't need me to wish him luck," she said at the InStyle Luxury Suites. "We have 10 statues at home lined up in a row. He has his Grammys, and we both have a Bambi [German music award]. ... You put them together and they breed."

Oh well it looks like Seal didn't win since Prince did, but it looks like they don't care so much about more awards. As for Heidi, she looks amazing already post her third baby. VH1 Big in '06 - The Big Show

Last night was the VH1 Big in '06 Awards that celebrated everything that was big news this past year. Okay, not everything, but those that are worth laughing about. The show was hosted by DL Hughley from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and it was clear immediately that the show was just for fun. It was obviously inspired by VH1's I Love the 80s series with comedians making snarky comments about everything, especially the nominees themselves. So it's probably a good thing that Britney skipped it to celebrate her birthday. The show had quite a lot of laughs at her expense (insert underwear joke here). And when she won for Big Mama (yes that was the category), comedian Brody Stevens said she'll land on her feet because "she's going to get any gig that Jessica Simpson says no to." Ouch! Big winners included JT, BFFs Britney and Paris, Kiefer and Katharine McPhee.

VH1 Big in '06 Arrivals

The stars came out Saturday night to find out who was Big in '06. They really have an award show for everything these days. Anyway, it was an interesting crowd that walked the red carpet. Check out Fergie who I think looks super cute. Hayden and Paris want us all to know that they're still super good friends. Little Ali Lohan is growing up and starting to learn to strike a pose. It's cute to see that she still has that cute innocence about her. Katharine McPhee was all dolled up and she must have been smiling all night since she won the IT girl award.

As for the men, well it wasn't as exciting, but Tommy Lee and Lance Bass seemed to be sporting new dos and love George Takei doing his thing. Billboard Awards Preview: AI It Girl, Katharine McPhee

American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee is having a big year. In fact, we caught up with her in Vegas before the FOX Billboard Music Awards, just after she'd been named the Big It Girl at VH1's Big in '06 Awards (more of that to come soon). She has been super busy working on her debut album, which comes out January 30, enduring a rather grueling schedule to get it out by the beginning of the year:

"After the third week of recording 10 hours a day, I was like, I just want to make this record good. They said, 'You’ll never make a record like this again. You’ll be recording one song a week as opposed to two songs a day.'"

Despite her busy schedule, Katharine looked radiant with porcelain skin and fabulous hair. We know she was the spokesmodel for Sexy Hair, so we thought it was funny when she freely admitted to wearing hair extensions. She joked: "I did cut it short at the end of the summer, so it’s grown so quickly!"

We saw Brit make a surprise appearance looking pretty at the AMAs last night, as well as some very cool performances. However the night was really about honoring the best in the business. The Black Eyed Peas scored big last night bringing home the most awards. They took the crown as best rap/hip-hop album, best rap/hip-hop group, and best soul/r&b group. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, the original AI winner Kelly Clarkson, Mary J Blige and Rascal Flatts all did really well too bringing home 2 awards each.

American Music Awards: The Ladies Arrive!

The ladies got hot on the red carpet last night for the AMAs. Here are some of the best and worst of the evening. Katharine McPhee went short and backless in her sexy mini. Beyonce looked better performing in her hot short sparkly dress (stay tuned) but still stood out in blue on the red carpet. She loves to go glam but we felt like this was a bit too mermaidy for us. Ashlee went simple and safe while Tori Spelling showed off her growing belly. Carmen disappointed us a little. She looks great but we're not loving the hair.

Gwen is definitely making a statement, and it's buy my album where I am sporting this same look. She sure has lost her Kingston weight and is totally back in shape. As for Sarah Silverman, we get it, you're a comedian so you don't have to go all out like the performers. You are cute when you try so maybe for these big events you can do a little more to show us you care more about comfort every once in awhile. We are the biggest fan of a comeback but we never would have guessed that Whitney Houston would have done one so quickly. The singer dropped her bad habit and her dead beat (but hilarious husband) Bobby Brown and BAM - check her out. Ms Whitney came out for the 17th Annual Carousel of Hope Ball. The event is a benefit for juvenile diabetes where Clive Davis and Quincy Jones were also both honored. But Whitney was what everyone was really talking about. The girl glowed, looking happy and healthy and is clearly doing very well post-Bobby. Apparently Clive and Whitney are working on a big comeback album, and we're crossing our fingers that she sounds as good as she looks! Go Whitney!

We all know Katharine bailed on the first part of the American Idol tour due to “severe bronchitis and laryngitis" but we were a bit skeptical. She seemed to be having too much fun in the pool with her boyfriend. Today she was on The View to defend her illness and to say she will be back with the Idols soon. She also had to dodge rumors that she missed the tour because of an eating disorder.US Weekly reported:

Meanwhile, a source says that McPhee (who said her five-year battle with bulimia was like “putting a sledgehammer to your vocal chords”) was missing the tour because of the eating disorder. “The bronchitis/laryngitis was a lie,” says the source. Her rep says that is “100 percent false.”

While she did not deny the eating disorder today on The View she did say that was not the reason for missing the tour. Clearly her voice is fine now and she is everywhere this week. She also announced that she is the new Sexy Hair spokesmodel. I must say her hair does look nice.

Katharine McPhee sure looked healthy this past weekend in Laguna Beach with her boyfriend Nick Cokas. However now she is skipping out on her Idol Tour due to bronchitis and laryngitis. She missed last night and will miss tonight's performance at Manchester's Verizon Wireless Arena.

People report:

Her doctor, Sean Nassari, ordered "total voice rest," the Associated Press reports.

In a statement, McPhee, 22, said that, while she was disappointed not to perform, "I need to follow my doctor's orders to recuperate and reunite with the rest of the idols."

Adding that her doctor had told her she needed to remain silent, she said, "That's the most difficult part, not talking!"
