Kate Beckinsale Loves Her Self and Life For Good Reason

Kate Beckinsale attended a screening of her new movie Nothing But The Truth and celebrated her Self cover in NYC last night. She looked simply stunning even solo and has every reason to radiate happiness with her career, family and friends. She recently talked to Elle UK about every aspect of her life these days. Here are highlights:

On Victoria: "Victoria is lovely and very down-to-earth. She loves taking the piss out of herself, which is a good thing as far as I’m concerned. We laugh a lot together. . . Her line of dresses is fantastic and I’m really proud of her. I’d definitely wear one of them, provided I could fit my bum into it! . . .Victoria dresses amazingly, I don’t know how she does it. I haven’t had a stylist for the past six months. When I’ve got an event coming up, I’ll either go shopping myself or ask a designer if I can borrow something.’
On her career: "Look, I’m sure it would be nice to be in the position where I could choose only those roles that were the most artistically fulfilling, but I don’t have that kind of career. I’m not complaining, though. I get to do good films, and I’ve not felt desperate enough yet to offer anyone a blow job for a part. I hope it stays that way."

The other women honored last night included Anne Hathaway, Jane Fonda, Sigourney Weaver and more. Most of the ladies left their men at home for the night, though Halle gave everyone a treat by bringing handsome Gabriel Aubrey. Congrats to the women celebrated last night and all the rest who came out to support their friends in Hollywood and pose together in some gorgeous dresses.

Chihuahua lovers came together in LA last night at the premiere of Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman brought Lily Sheen to pose with two of the doggies who were the stars of the evening. I bet she went home asking for a new puppy. Jamie Lee Curtis and George Lopez also held the four-legged buddies before catching the fun-loving flick. Piper Perabo and Andy Garcia are two of the actors who are actually in the movie out to see the finished product before it hits theaters Oct. 3.

Stars came out in Santa Monica on Saturday night for the 4th annual Pink Party to benefit Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Research Institute. Kate Beckinsale stole the show in her dramatic dress which was right on point color-wise for the party's theme with her hot husband Len. Jennifer Garner went a lot more casual in jeans posing alongside Kate. Meanwhile, Heidi Montag was almost unrecognizable with her usual big flowing blond hair pinned back but there's no mistaking Spencer Pratt by her side and some very pink shoes. At least those two include charity events on their busy social calendars, only it's still a little odd to see them alongside so many big names.
