Madonna and Guy Keep Their Divorce Civil For the Kids

Guy Ritchie brought Rocco and David to the set of Sherlock Holmes in Liverpool earlier today. Madonna and Guy's divorce will be made official tomorrow after a month of ugly accusations from both sides, and it seems like everything is working out for their kids. Apparently the two will share custody of Rocco and David as the boys split their time between New York and London. Supposedly Guy didn't ask for any of Madonna's money because his priorities were on his sons. The settlement will not be disclosed to the public so we won't know the details, but it looks like the couple is moving on without drawing out the ugliness.

Robert Downey Jr. was dressed to face the British weather as he left his Manchester hotel earlier today. He made his way over to the set of Sherlock Holmes, joining Guy Ritchie and Jude Law to film a scene that involved him jumping out of a window. Robert should get used to all the action — he's just signed on to do two more Iron Man movies as well as the superhero flick The Avengers. Sounds like a lot of work for one man, but RDJ seems up to the challenge.

He's getting ready to start filming The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus to help finish Heath's role that sadly got cut short. He's also got his new film My Blueberry Nights hitting theaters in limited release tomorrow, but Jude skipped the NYC screening last night. Sounds like he's committed to honoring his lost friend, even if it means making a few sacrifices.

Jude Law doesn't look like he has a care in the world while on a little vacation on Islamorada, one of the Florida Keys. He's got a happy little smile on his face to go with that fruity cocktail, his nice tan, his portable radio, and some not-so-light reading. The book in question is sci-fi thriller Repossession Mambo, the movie adaptation of which he has been working on. He doesn't even seem to mind one bit that he's all by his lonesome or that we've had noticeably fewer stories of his womanizing ways recently. Maybe he's all grown up?

Jude Law tried to cover up his bad new haircut with a fedora, but it really didn't help him regain his hotness promoting and premiering Sleuth in NYC yesterday. He kept the mismatched hat (I guess that's the thing these days) but changed his undershirt between taping the Late Show With David Letterman and attending the NYC premiere of his movie. Blech, so smarmy. Where is The Holiday Jude when you need him?

Okay - this is what I'm talking about, Jude Law! Hellooooo, handsome! I know, I know, he'll be gross and greasy tomorrow, but at last night's Toronto Film Festival Sleuth premiere he was at his very best. While last week was a rough one for Jude with his arrest for beating up a paparazzi, things are definitely looking up. It was just announced that he will be taking to the stage, playing Hamlet under the direction of his Sleuth co-star and famous former Prince of Denmark himself, Kenneth Branagh in London's West End. That's a lofty role, for sure, but at least it sounds like Jude is in the right hands. Plus, Hamlet is every actor's dream, right?

GQ Shows Its Male Appreciation

While the supermodels posed pretty on the red carpet, the likes of Michael Caine, Johnny Borrell and Kanye West were getting honored inside the UK GQ's Men Of The Year Awards last night. Orlando continued to show off that 'stache while Jude looked calm and happy, obviously having no idea the night would lead to his arrest. Madonna and Sir Elton John even finally decided to kiss and make up from their silly ongoing feud. Overall, it looks like a pretty fun party for all the attendees.

Jude In Trouble With the Law For Beating Paparazzi

Jude Law looked pretty pissy on the phone in London Monday, and the next day his mood went from bad to worse. Last night he turned himself in for arrest after beating up a paparazzi outside of his home. According to the report, Jude assaulted the photographer and accused him of only wanting shots of his children, despite the fact that the man wasn't taking pictures at the moment. I assume Jude recognized the man from earlier incidents, which set him off. Jude's lawyer just issued the following statement:

"I can confirm that Jude Law voluntarily attended Marylebone Police Station yesterday following an alleged incident outside his house earlier in the day. Mr. Law provided the police with a statement regarding his denials of allegations by a 'paparazzi' photographer against him and made his own allegations concerning the photographer. Jude has the utmost respect for the police and whilst this is an ongoing matter no further comment will be made."

This isn't the first time the actor has been accused of getting angry at a paparazzi and I certainly can't blame Jude for being frustrated with constantly being followed. That being said, violence is pretty much always a bad call. Jude was released on bail and his court date is set for October.

Jude Didn't Let Alfie Scare Him Away From Remakes

Jude was still showing off that aggressive tan alongside Michael Caine and director Kenneth Branagh at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Sleuth last night. Hey, at least he found himself some more appropriate footwear. The film is a remake of a 1972 thriller of the same name, and Jude had some self-deprecating words on acting in a new take on a well-loved classic. He said, "From my experience (Alfie) did not quite work out the way I had wanted it to, but you know part of the reason you embark on a creative journey sometimes is to fall flat ... and sometimes the fall leads to a triumph." Well, I think we can all agree that Alfie was pretty terrible, so pretty much anything will be an upgrade from that.

Jude Law got all spiffed up for his arrival at the Venice Film Festival today. Awww, look, he even put on his very best bronzer for the press conference and photo call for his movie Sleuth. And check out those kicks! Hey, non-red-carpet-appropriate 90s throwback! One thing he was missing, though, was his adorable ~~baby blue tie~~ new lady friend, former Miss Germany Susan Hoecke. I won't bother getting too attached to this one, because the perennial bachelor doesn't seem to stick with women for too long these days. Hey, at least she hotted him up for the moment. We all know how fleeting that can be with Mr. Law.

Cameron Luckily Catches Jude On A Dreamy Day

Cameron was full of smiles leaving dinner with Jude and some friends including Angelina's ex husband Jonny Lee Miller last night. No wonder Cam was so happy -- she caught Jude on one of his hot days. Tomorrow she might not be quite so lucky. I'm sure these pictures will spark about a million rumors about The Holiday costars being involved in a love affair, but I don't think they are more than friends. Is Jude Law Still Hot? The Eternal Question

So these photos are a step in the right direction for Jude, but considering the hotness missteps he's made in the past year or so, at what point can we stop desperately searching for the handsome beneath? Are there throngs of ladies who still find him drool worthy or is he past his prime? I honestly can't decide for myself. Because there's this and then there's this. At least any moments when he's not in manpris definitely helps.
