On Ellen today she talks about Ashlee's pregnancy but it wouldn't be a Jessica Simpson interview without some gushing about Tony Romo. She said, "He is a good guy. And he's really just helped me along in life and taught me a lot about being comfortable being myself. He's taught me to calm down a lot. I'm not organized and he's not organized either – but [he] does make me want to be organized for us." Jess never seems to run out of good things to say about her man, and it sounds like she's found another guy to appreciate her with nothing but a t-shirt on.

Jessica Simpson Talks Ashlee's Labor Plans

Jessica Simpson had a girls' night out at Katsuya in LA yesterday where she showed off her pouty lips and waved to the cameras. The older sister is excited to become an aunt, and after Ashlee's false alarm this weekend, she doesn't have too much longer to wait. In an episode of Ellen airing tomorrow, Jess reveals personal details about her sister's pregnancy and, of course, talks about Tony. Here are some highlights:

On Ashlee's labor: "[She's trying] different foot massages and stuff, I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now. They're going to have to [induce labor] — it's already developing really quick."
On the sex of the baby: "I can't say because they haven't said. I'll stick my foot in my mouth and get in trouble and I won't be a good aunt."
On Tony: "[To be a Dallas Cowboys quarterback] there's a requirement. Like, you have to be good looking. [. . .] Being out there and demanding and commanding that field — that's pretty sexy. But it's nice when you have the whole package. [We're] really a lot alike. I'm just more into fashion than he is."

The Simpson family loves to talk about each other, so no surprise that Jess over shared a bit about Ashlee's labor plans. At least Jess is just showing how excited and eager she is to welcome the new Simpson-Wentz, whether it's a boy or a girl.

Jessica had good reason for missing the game — this weekend Ashlee supposedly had labor false alarm but is back home with no new addition yet. It can't be too much longer before the newest Simpson-Wentz arrives, but until then Jessica's on hand to welcome what will become the world's newest Cowboys fan if she can help it.

Ashlee's Baby Shower Saturday Ends With Hospital Trip

Ashlee Simpson celebrated this weekend with a last minute Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower at the Hotel Bel-Air on Saturday afternoon. She and Pete were joined by family and friends in what he recently described as the "very end" of her pregnancy and while a trip to Cedars-Sinai was in the cards, it wasn't to welcome the new addition. After the shower, Jessica headed off to dinner with a group including CaCee Cobb and Ken Paves, but unfortunately things got messy on their way out. As they were leaving Madeo after their meal, Ken got hit in the face with a paparazzi camera causing a late night trip to the hospital with Jessica by his side. After a joyful day full of love for Ashlee, hopefully Ken's injury didn't put too much of a damper on things.
