Another Year Is Flying by For Jen and Violet

She's looking so grown up with her long blonde hair and is still showing off her stylish stripes. She won't be the littlest Affleck for very much longer, but Violet has a big milestone coming up even before she gets a little sibling — her third birthday is on December 1 just a week away.

It must have been a relieving day for Jen, who was granted a permanent restraining order from the man who's been stalking her for the past few years. It all sounds like a scary situation for the family and with Ben busy over in the Congo, we hope this victory will help Jen sleep easier at night.

Jennifer Garner Wins Protection Against Her Alleged Stalker Jennifer Garner got a permanent restraining order against the man who has allegedly been stalking her this morning. Jennifer's lawyer just appeared in a downtown LA court and got an order against Steven Burky, prohibiting him from having contact with Jennifer for three years.

Jennifer Garner headed into a studio in LA yesterday afternoon while news broke of a scary situation for the actress and her family. Garner was recently granted a temporary restraining order against a man who has allegedly been stalking Jennifer since 2002. Garner made a declaration saying she worried for her and her family's safety especially during the past few years when he has repeatedly shown up at their house and followed her around the country.

In addition to her statement, she handed over many love letter and birthday cards from 36-year-old Steven Burky, and her security guard confirmed Burky tried repeatedly to approach Garner at events. The alleged stalker is now not allowed to go within 100 yards of Garner, her family, or staff. There will be a hearing later today to see if the restraining order will become permanent.

We can't imagine how scary this is for Jennifer and Ben especially with Violet and another baby on the way. Hopefully after tomorrow his harassment will soon be a distant memory for Jennifer and the rest of the Garner-Affleck family.

The family had a visit from Ben's mom this weekend and Violet must have had fun playing with her grandmother while she's still an only child. From the looks of Jen's baby bump, the newest addition will be here before we know it, and while Jen and Ben are supposedly keeping things traditional, we're curious if they'll give Violet's sibling a name to match hers.

Ben Pretends to Endorse McCain While Violet Leads the Way

After getting dressed up as Ted and Fred for Halloween, Jen and Violet were spotted around town at the Children's Museum on Saturday and a bookstore with Ben on Sunday. The family headed east so Ben could host Saturday Night Live this weekend. Jen watched on and then the couple the celebrated with the cast at an after party. John McCain made a few appearances on the show including the opening with Tina Fey once again as Sarah Palin. Ben shared his streak of bad luck endorsing the Democratic party and therefore decided to sarcastically endorse John McCain. He also hilariously impersonated Keith Olbermann. The big day is tomorrow so remember to GO VOTE and then you can get a free cup of coffee from the Afflecks' favorite coffee shop, Starbucks.

It's always nice to fit in a little adult time, too, because with another baby on the way, soon it'll be harder to squeeze in quiet breakfasts with friends for this hands-on mom.
