Britney's Rebound Man Meets the Press

You know what sucks about being an on-the-rebound celebrity who wants to sleep with unknowns? When you break up, said unknown talks to the press. Very ouch for Britney. Isaac, Brit's post Kevin man, was offered the right price for him to talk, and boy did he talk. So inappropriate. Here's more:

"She loves sex and is incredibly adventurous. She was totally happy when we were locked in each other's arms. But once the sex stopped Britney was like a little girl lost, unable to cope.

"She would lie like a limp rag doll in my arms and and say, ‘Why can't everyone leave me alone?' and, ‘What have I done to deserve this?'"

..."By the time I met Britney she was burnt out. She knew she had been drinking and partying as a way to try to banish the bad stuff from her life. Far from the trashy drunk, I saw a very shy, sweet girl who was just desperately sad about what had happened with her marriage.

"Yes she enjoyed Jack Daniel's but she was trying not to get in the state she had been in with Paris. Her boys mean everything to her and she worried she might lose them in a custody battle.

"It was clear she was not over her marriage. The first time she invited me to her home I saw her wedding dress hung on the wall in a glass box.

"As we made love that night it was like Kevin was in bed beside us. She had not even begun to move on with her life."

Yikes. While it seems totally wrong for Isaac to talk to the press like this, I suppose it's what people do, and it's pretty heartbreaking to hear what he has to say about Brit. Giving Britney a hard time is easy these days, but I honestly hope she finds a modicum of stability in her life sometime soon. Until then, she should probably spend her nights sleeping with someone who is slightly more trustworthy.

Britney Back to the Single Life

Britney finally bundled up in NYC but we think she took the pink a bit too far. At least she decided to cover up rather than go out in the freezing cold baring all. OK Magazine is reporting that Britney is a single again. Apparently Isaac broke up with Britney over the phone this weekend after dating for several weeks. Here's more:

With Britney, 25, in New York on business, Isaac has been staying with friends and caring for Snow White, Britney’s teacup Chihuahua.

According to a friend of Isaac, 25, he has been “looking to get out of the relationship for a while.

“It was a bit much for him,” the friend tells OK! “There was a lot of drama – it was too much of a whirlwind. It wasn’t one thing in particular.

“Her likes her. They had a good time together. He was doing his best to help her out – but there is only so much one person can do.”

What’s next for Isaac? “Hanging out with the guys and riding his dirt bike,” says the friend. “He’s focusing on his career – working and going out on castings.”

And since the rumors can't stop there, In Touch is claiming that Ms Brit actually prefers the ladies. We've heard this one before as well and we just think everyone loves to make a buck off Britney.

The ever-evolving Britney has changed up her look once again with black extensions and some new religious bling. While we thought she gave up Kabbalah long ago when she professed, "my baby is my religion," she's recently started wearing a Star of David necklace. Perhaps she is reaching out to Madonna or just paying homage to her new Jewish boyfriend, Isaac Cohen? One thing is for sure; Britney loves to change her mind.

When I first saw these pictures of Britney I was so pleased that she was finally bringing her infant, Jayden James, out of the house (finally)...but then I realized that she's just holding a bag of clothes and I'm an idiot.

Meanwhile, X17 has video of Britney saying that she and Isaac Cohen aren't seeing each other anymore, but I'm thinking she's just messing with the paps. At least she's keeping track of her own life through the gossip rags, can't blame her for not being able to keep up with all of her activities.

Britney Spears has been talking a big game about her 2007 comeback, but thus far it has pretty much amounted to everyone learning the name of her new husband (give it two months, it'll be true), Isaac Cohen.

Well, we suppose it's only been a couple of weeks and she is back in the recording studio (and outfitting her man in whatever kooky outfit she deems appropriate for the day). Meanwhile, Brit's friends are saying that she's using the L Word to describe her feelings towards Isaac. Wow. She's totally learned a valuable lesson about falling fast and hard, eh Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline?

Brit's Reps Set Things Straight

Britney's reps are definitely hard at work earning their money this week (as usual). People just can't stop talking about Ms. Spears. First there were rumors circulating that she's knocked-up again. Manager Larry Rudolph said the rumors are absurd and totally not true. Also the song Fed-Up that supposedly leaked from her new album turns out to be a no go as well. Her rep at Jive Records Gina Orr says, "That is NOT her vocal, that is NOT a song on her forthcoming album." Nice work on whoever produced the track since it was certainly catchy.

One thing that is for real in Britney news is her new man Isaac Cohen. Friends say that the two have what it takes to make it last. “They love the same things: partying, drinking, watching TV and just going crazy together,” says a Spears insider. "She also likes that he is the strong, silent type." He's also evidently taken to her kids and is willing to change diapers. Sounds fine just as long as they don't drink, party, go crazy and hang with the kids at the same time.

Britney Brings Back The Bad Extensions

Britney took a break from partying with her new man Isaac Cohen to take Sean P to the park in Beverly Hills this weekend. At least it seems she's willing to spend more on the one kid (seriously, can we start a JJ day count?) than she is on maintaining her extensions. Kids left at home, Brit took Isaac to the opening of Sideways Restaurant & Lounge in LA last week and it was all about PDA for the new couple. Page Six reports:

The two "ordered tons of the kobe sliders and Louisiana crab cakes," said our spy, who added, "They drank a lot of vodka cranberry cocktails." The couple then made out at the table for all to see, "engaging in major public displays of affection."

At least Brit found some time to hang out with little Sean P over the weekend. That is before she headed to Vegas for a romantic night with Isaac. Britney's New Guy

Britney is still hitting the town, and here she is out in West Hollywood leaving dinner. Since splitting with Kevin, Britney has not been lonely. Between hanging with her manager, kissing JR Rotem, and now she seems to have a new man. Britney has been hanging out with model-actor, Isaac Cohen. Don't worry, supposedly he's not trying to date Britney just to get famous. People reports:

Cohen "is not a player," his agent at L.A. Models, Brandi Lord, tells PEOPLE. "He's got a great heart and a good family, and he was raised well. He's a gentleman."

He's clearly a fresh face on Britney's hectic social scene, where BFFs come and go (au revoir, Paris); just last month Spears was spotted kissing music producer J.R. Rotem.

Zooming into 2007 in much the same way she closed out 2006, Spears, 25, has been moving full speed ahead: partying in L.A. and jetting to Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa in Paradise Valley, Ariz., where she stayed in a $4,000 per night rental house.

As for Cohen, Lord says that his relationship with Spears began "recently ... within the past month." The L.A.-area native "is not out to get a name for himself," says Lord. "He's not just a pretty boy."

It would be nice if she found herself a man who cares but it must be hard when you're Britney Spears. At least it looks like she may have bought some new clothes during her trip to Barneys. For more pics of Ms Brit just
