As usual, Victoria's been busy holding down the fort back home and treating the boys to trips to the mall to keep their mind off missing their dad. The kids may be fully immersed in their new LA lifestyle, but they haven't lost their British roots, since apparently Brooklyn already loves the Beatles. Sounds like the whole family will always have a soft spot for their home.

David and Victoria Beckham left the Waverly Inn on Friday night and shopped at Fendi on Fifth Ave. on Sunday while in NYC this weekend. Posh hasn't given up shopping entirely as even the rainy day didn't keep them from the stores. The couple were in town to launch their his and hers perfumes on Friday, though all eyes were on Victoria's crazy boots. She's adopted a new healthy lifestyle but the fashion icon still hates wearing flats and sweating proving that as much as Victoria's changed since moving to California, she's still got a lot of Posh in her.

Decked out in gray and black, the handsome duo were fierce as ever though there was no sign of those smiles Posh is supposedly full of these days. Can't say I blame her though, because in those thigh high heel-less Antonio Berardi boots I can't imagine her mind is on much other than trying to stay standing. Just another look that only Victoria Beckham could pull off with her gorgeous husband on her arm and there to help her if she gets a little bit tired of standing on her tip toes.

Becks Is Victorious While Posh Gushes About Her Life

Victoria Beckham brought her boys and BFF Eva Longoria to cheer on David as his LA Galaxy brought in their first victory since June with a score of 5-2 against DC United in Carson on Saturday. Even with a shaky record, the Galaxy were recently named the most valuable team in MLS, attributing its high popularity to Becks. Ticket sales aren't the only thing healthier since the Beckhams moved to LA, even Victoria is more fit than ever. She recently said:

On her new lifestyle: "I run four miles, seven days a week. I feel energised and healthy — there are really nice gyms here and I just enjoy it. […] David puts music on my iPod and Gordon Ramsay bought me trainers where you have a little chip so you can clock how far you’re running. I am eating more. I think you do eat more when you’re working out. And you want to eat healthily, so it’s good all round. […] I don’t really go shopping any more — apart from the flea market I go to every Sunday."
On her current lawsuit against a magazine that claimed she took diet pills: "Lots of young girls do look up to me, and I just think it’s ludicrous that they can completely make something like that up. You have to take these things really seriously."
On her success: "Things are really positive for me and I feel so content. I feel proud of myself because I’ve worked for it and, let’s face it, I don’t have to. I’m so content I’ve even been smiling a bit these days. [...] It feels fantastic that everything I’ve worked so hard for over the past five years is coming together. I’ve been on the covers of Vogue, I’m respected in the fashion industry, and Anna Wintour takes my calls."

With Anna Wintour on the phone and all her other success, life is better than ever for the Beckhams. Plus, it sounds like Victoria gave in to the healthy California lifestyle and she looks fabulous — though we doubt her days of shopping are fully behind her.

Victoria Beckham Is Inspired by Her Hot, Exhausted Husband

David Beckham left his house to play chauffeur and pick up his kids from school in LA yesterday. After another tough loss over the weekend where David Beckham admitted he hadn't slept and didn't know what time zone he was in, the LA Galaxy are currently in last place in the MLS, causing some criticism directed at the team's famous leader. At least other aspects of the dVb empire are doing well — Victoria debuted her dresses at Fashion Week, and she wrote on the website about her dream coming true, the success of the past year, and her inspiration. Posh said, "Along with women’s denim the dVb mens collection has just launched, and who better than David to be my muse!" We can't imagine a better inspiration — or model — for the menswear, but it sounds like somewhere along the way, the hot soccer star might need a nap.

David Beckham made the trek to Beijing to participate in last night's closing ceremony, where the honor of the Summer Olympics was handed off to London for the 2012 games. His appearance was brief — he basically just kicked the ball while Leona Lewis sang with Jimmy Page — but he also found time to play spectator a bit while he was in town. While the Beijing games were likely the most watched Olympics in history, there are some people who are probably relieved they're over. After bringing his family to London with him to throw his dad a late birthday party, David Beckham was back on the field yesterday with the national team. He practiced with his fellow footballers before sitting down to get serious. The group got together to support the Stop Knife Crime Campaign where Becks recounted an emotional story about his friend who was paralyzed after being stabbed when they were just 13. Becks' heart always seems to be in the right place and we aren't the only ones loving him considering his life may be turned into a West End musical. Meanwhile, there's also some news waiting for him back at home — a new coach and manager for the Galaxy. Phew sounds like a lot of activity for the international superstar before heading to the Olympics closing ceremony this weekend.

The Beckham clan all headed out of Los Angeles on Friday arriving at LAX looking perfectly coordinated. The three adorable boys were all matching as usual in their striped shirts and Adidas shoes — love it. The family of five was headed home to London to throw David's dad a surprise party after missing his 60th birthday last month. David was also busy blogging this week about the rough patch the Galaxy is going through and lamenting the closing of the greyhound track he worked at as a teen, but next weekend is going to be exciting when he's on hand to participate in the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. If his sons make the trek with daddy he better watch out, because we all know Cruz is always ready to steal the show.

It was a whirlwind weekend for Victoria and David who were also spotted up in Napa on Saturday night for dinner at the French Laundry with their well-paid celebrity chef friend Gordon Ramsay. Too bad we didn't get a chance to see what Victoria wore either night since the fashion icon never disappoints. One minor letdown from Posh, however, is that she won't be showing her own designs at NY Fashion Week this year. Even if she's not showing her own collection, hopefully Ms. Beckham will still be supporting all of the other fabulous designers come September.

David Beckham brought his boys Brooklyn and Romeo out for a little practice in the park yesterday and ended up giving a local soccer camp the treat of a lifetime. The three Beckham boys played around with the other kids, exchanging hugs and high fives between photo ops. Of course, always good-natured Becks looked happy to provide some smiles even out of his Galaxy uniform. His boys were representing for him in their outfits, already showing off that while Cruz might have gotten that dancing gene from their Posh mom, Romeo and Brooklyn are ready to hit the field running.

David Beckham is looking seriously sexy on the September cover of Men's Health, keeping his shirt on (boo) and dressing up in a suit for his boxing-themed photo shoot. In the interview, he talks about his family, sports, and how someone was very wrong about his soccer skills. Here are some highlights:

On his comfort zone: "There is this madness around me, around my family. Without a doubt, out on the field is where I'm most comfortable, where I'm happiest, because I know what I'm doing, and I know I can do it."
On losing: "I'm a really bad loser. It stays with me for a while. I always take it quite personally when we don't win as a team or I don't win in everything else I do."
On relaxing: "People always ask me, 'Do you play golf?' Because a majority of sportsmen do. I used to play, quite a few years ago, but to be honest, I'd rather spend four hours with the kids than four hours on a golf course. As much as it can be relaxing, it's a frustrating sport. My way of relaxing is listening to music and spending time with the kids."
What another player said to him when he was 13 years old: "You'll never play for England, because you're too small and not strong enough."

Looks like Becks really knows how to motivate himself by proving people wrong — and now he's racking up awards to show everyone that he's still on top.
