Last night some of the biggest names in Hollywood got together in San Francisco for a reading of The World of Nick Adams at Davies Symphony Hall. The event was to benefit Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Camp the Painted Turtle, which made it an especially touching and memorable evening. The legendary actor was honored by friends including Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Casey Affleck, Joaquin Phoenix and more.

Last night was a family affair for the Paltrows at the premiere of The Good Night. The film stars Gwyneth and is directed by her brother Jake. Their mom Blythe Danner came out to support her two kids, along with family friends Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw. 
Hilary and Patrick celebrated the opening of their new film Freedom Writers last night in Westwood. In the film Hilary plays a teacher who attempts to breakthrough to her hardened students at a gang-infested Long Beach high school. Patrick Dempsey plays her husband. 
Gwyneth seems to be losing all that baby weight by going to the same gym as Madonna. Besides working out Gwyneth has also been working with her brother Jake on The Good Night. Jake is directing the film which includes Danny DeVito, Penelope Cruz and Martin Freeman. 
By now you all have heard that George and Danny DeVito had a big night out together this week. Danny appeared drunk on The View and Clooney woke up that same morning with a horrible hangover. George will be on the Today show Monday and in the interview Matt Lauer gets to the bottom of Clooney's drinking habits. RSS Feed
