In the September issue of Allure, Carrie Underwood revealed that Tony Romo still calls her, saying, "I don't know. The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer." This morning, Jessica was asked about the comment when giving an interview for a Nashville radio station. Jessica said, "Tony and I both laughed at that. We got a chuckle out of it." She also admitted that she checked Tony's call log to make sure it wasn't true. So tell us — should Jess have revealed her insecurity and responded to Carrie's comment at all? Source

Carrie Underwood slipped into uniform and stepped up to the plate alongside some of her fellow country stars for the 18th annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge on Wednesday. She played tough before the game, saying, "I’ve got a lot of practice with a bat one way or another the last couple years." Unfortunately, Carrie's confidence wasn't enough to lead her team to victory, but she still looked cute as a button running the bases. Tonight we'll get to see her flex her more famous muscles — those vocal cords — singing at the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

Last night Kenny Chesney was declared the Entertainer of the Year for the fourth year in a row at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Vegas. Garth Brooks was also back in the limelight to receive the first-ever Crystal Milestone Award for his outstanding achievements. Performer Keith Urban didn't need a trophy to make him gush. The father-to-be expressed his excitement showing off Nicole's growing baby bump on the red carpet. Top new female vocalist, Taylor Swift got real wet with a chilling performance of "Should've Said No" where she was singing and dancing while water poured down on her. Winner for best female vocalist Carrie Underwood not only looked gorgeous in her many outfits, but she also showed her chic geeky side playing with the hottest new toy she plays on her tour bus - I gotta get me one of those.

Country Music Loves Its Little Ladies

Last night's Country Music Television Awards were more about glamor than sequins, but there was certainly still a lot of glitz and fun in the Nashville night. Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus hosted the evening which included a lot of costume changes for the starlet. Adorable little Taylor Swift took home Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, while Kellie Pickler (really!? She didn't even show!) took home three statues, the most of the night. Taylor spent much of the night barefoot saying, "I walked by Faith Hill and I was like, 'This hurts so bad.' And she was like, 'Take them off,' Faith Hill told me to. So I did it." She's pretty precious and speaking of that, kinda love Carrie Underwood who closed out the show with "American Girl." Check out the full list of winners here.

Country Cuties Come Out for the CMT Music Awards

Nashville rolled out the purple carpet for the finest in country music last night. Nicole and her barely showing baby bump supported her husband Keith Urban who was the opening act. Faith Hill looked a little lost in her all black ensemble but that hubby Tim McGraw's hat was a helpful distraction. As for the younger ladies, Carrie Underwood looked perfect in purple. This American Idol is well beyond being known as the reality TV contestant. Miley Cyrus continues to be everywhere. This was her first of many outfits throughout the evening as the host and performer. Taylor Swift was looking like a princess and the young star was also the big winner last night.

Star-Studded Celebrity Roster Supports Idol Gives Back

Idol Gives Back brought out quite the crowd from all different areas of the entertainment industry for the taping in Hollywood last night. Reese and Brad shared their pretty faces with the audience, while Mariah and Miley were among the musical performers of the night. Teri showed off her pipes (even though most of you wish she wouldn't) and Fergie took the stage to do a song with Heart. As for the theme of the night, Carrie Underwood summed it up nicely, saying, "It's not about self-promoting. It's not about singing your latest single. It's not about trying to be the most-downloaded whatever on iTunes. It's all about getting people to call in and do something." The charitable special airs this Wednesday, and we can't wait to check out the wonderful edition of one of our favorite shows.

Clive Gets The Grammy Party Started...With Whitney

Clive Davis helped kick off the Grammys with his annual pre-show party on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton in LA. The appearance of the night was, of course, Whitney Houston who looked fabulous on the red carpet and with her wardrobe change inside. The icon was joined at the party by Lindsay Lohan in sea foam green and Rihanna in a very full-coverage number. Nicole and Joel were pulling double duty coming from the LACMA party to pose with the likes of Fergie and Pete/Ashlee. Miss Carrie Underwood was there with her boyfriend Chace Crawford, but he managed to avoid the cameras. Boo that. Inside, the party goers were treated to performances from all-star acts like Alicia Keys, the Foo Fighters, Daughtry and Leona Lewis. At one point Akon and Will.i.am took the stage for singing and backflips. I'm sure they were all home nice and early to get a good night's sleep before last night's Grammys. Suuuure.

Grammy's 50th Kept on Going and Going and Going

Many of the ladies on the red carpet had the chance to change outfits since they performed and presented as well. In fact, during some parts of the show the beautiful boys like John Mayer and John Legend were simply background fodder to Alicia Keys and Fergie's fabulous voices. We were especially excited to see Alicia getting down in an age appropriate outfit that made her shine. Kanye's touching performance to his mother also included a shockingly obvious hint to the orchestra to stop the send off music so he could thank his mom when he won for Best Rap Album.

Tina and Beyonce shook things up in their tight hot silver numbers (Tina, you still got it but the Posh wanna-be outfit was a bit much). Carrie Underwood changed into a hot little black number with sexy boots while Rihanna kept it playful with her fun feathery dress. The most anticipated performance of the night definitely belonged to Amy Winehouse who also won big. Her mom even stood by her side while she accepted Record of the Year. Overall, the performances were great and even though this was a special Grammy year - turning 50 and all - we hope next year they can keep the show to under 3 hours. That was certainly a long one folks.

The ladies of the music world got all fancied up for the Grammys last night, but we were left feeling a bit disappointed. Rihanna looked cute as part of the blue brigade, which also included Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado. Fergie stood out in her yellow number but we couldn't take our eyes off of Beyonce, who drew more attention with her new super blond highlights than with her sparkly dress. You guys are liking Carrie's look for the best dressed, but all in all, we were more impressed with our starlets' performances on stage than on the red carpet. Sugar Bits — Madonna's Directorial Debut Heads to Berlin

Conde Nast Movie Night Rocks the House

Last night at the Kodak Theater Condé Nast hosted Movies Rock which lucky for us will air on CBS next week. The idea was to celebrate film through music with performances by Beyonce, Fergie, John Legend, Tony Bennett, Usher and more. The idea is similar to the Fashion Rocks concert which celebrated Fashion Week and music. This time around Jennifer Lopez proudly showed off her pregnant belly while Fergie continued to amaze the crowd with what looks like a flying performance. Movies Rock J Lo, Marc, Beyonce and Fergie

Last night in Hollywood, Condé Nast brought together music and screen to celebrate at the first ever Movies Rock event. The red carpet was all about drama from Beyonce's green number which looked like she would waddle rather than strut in to Fergie's sexy lingerie-esque dress. Jennifer Lopez positively glowed (and is sooo big!) while Marc posed with his hand on her belly — protective already of their little one. Both Josh Duhamel and Josh Jackson went with ties and sweaters, though Pacey's maybe shrunk a bit too much in the dryer. Inside the show, the audience was treated to performances from the all star talent — more on that in a little. How do you think all the ladies (and men) were looking? American Idol Reunion Rules At the AMAs

Last night was all about the AI alums at the American Music Awards. Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry (and his band) walked away with three glass pyramids apiece while Justin Timberlake won two, but had to accept via satellite. He seemed so thrilled about it, too. Check out the full list of winners here. Fergie got pretty emotional during her acceptance speech for Best Female Artist, but at least she remembered to thank hot Josh watching her from the audience. Alicia Keys didn't win any awards, but her performance was my favorite of the night. Another highlight was Beyonce and Sugarland's version of "Irreplacable," though maybe I just love that song no matter what. That wasn't B's biggest moment though — Usher gave a a sweet speech (but has some reading trouble) giving her the 5th ever special International Artist Award. Congrats to all the artists filling up their mantles with AMA statues.
