Brooke and Kim Party With Their Kids While LJ Carries On

Two thirds of the ladies of Lipstick Jungle, Brooke Shields and Kim Raver, brought their kids to the Cookie magazine Kidsfest bash in NYC on Sunday. Kim posed on the pink carpet with husband Manu Boyer and their two boys, Leo and Luke, while Brooke Shields kept an eye on her youngest daughter Grier and denied reports of their reportedly canceled show. Of the rumors, she said, "It's not true. . . They're not breaking down the sets. We’re still working. We still have more to do, so it's erroneously presented that we’ve been canceled, thank God." Hopefully Brooke is right, since we have grown to love the show this season after another good episode — not to mention continuing to check out their great style and fabulous set decorations.

Brooke Shields Won't Be Re-Applying Her Lipstick

It must have been bittersweet for Brooke Shields as she filmed a scene for Lipstick Jungle with David Norona at Rockefeller Center earlier today. We're still sad about the show's cancellation, but at least it sounds like we may get to watch the remaining 13 episodes that are still scheduled to air. The fabulous wardrobes, strong female characters, and of course, a certain shirtless hot bachelor will be missed, so we'll just have to savor the last new episodes while we can.

Brooke Shields and Grier braved the cold with mouse ears out in NYC yesterday afternoon. While Brooke's family stays out of the spotlight for the most part, we're getting to know her on-screen loved ones more and more throughout the Lipstick Jungle season. Last night was an intense episode for Wendy Healy as they celebrated Halloween, and of course all three women looked fabulous as usual. Lucky us, we get a new episode again on Friday when the show makes a move to its new time slot.

The ladies of Lipstick Jungle filmed scenes in NYC yesterday, showing off their chic-as-ever outerwear. Just a few hours later, Kim and Lindsay hit the red carpet arm-in-arm without Brooke. Last night's episode was another dramatic one for Nico, Wendy, and Victory, but as usual their strong personalities, senses of humor, and great fashion kept it fresh. Nico and Wendy both seem pretty happy in their relationships on the show these days, but Victory was in a rocky place with her man. Thankfully, at Tuesday's Chanel party, Cheyenne Jackson talked about playing Lindsay Price's love interest in an upcoming episode, so she won't have any lack of hot guys around.

Madonna took a break from her Sticky and Sweet tour and put on some crazy gun-heeled shoes to premiere her directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom in NYC last night. Lindsay Lohan must have enjoyed her Sunday night at the material girl's show, because she went right from her leggings launch to the red carpet while Samantha headed back to LA amid rumors of trouble in their relationship. Dolce and Gabbana cohosted the event leading to some decked out ladies like a gorgeous Jessica Alba out for the night without Cash and a glowing pregnant in purple Naomi Watts. Chace cleaned up nicely for the show instead of staying home to watch the new Gossip Girl on TV. While Madonna's husband has been busy promoting his own new movie, RocknRolla, he didn't make it to the premiere with his wife. It looks like a certain famous Yankee stayed away from Madonna's big night too.

After taking the podium, the winners and presenters headed back to the press area to pose with their statues and field all sorts of interviews. Buzz and I were lucky enough to be back in the Press Room during last night's Emmys to catch the victorious in all their glory. Buzz has some of the best highlights from Mad Men, 30 Rock, Colbert, Stewart and more. Piven was the first to win and the first to come backstage where he quickly insulted the reality TV host opening saying he thought everyone was being "Punk'd" and called it a "celebration of nothing." Tina Fey was hilarious as always though she ran into a little trouble losing her bag! She told the room to keep an eye out for it saying, "It's a small purple purse with an iPhone in it with a picture of a naked toddler on it.” Ha. Alec Baldwin quickly dismissed questions about his personal life, but all in all the cast looked like they were having a blast glowing in their win.

When asked about who should play the Obamas, John Stewart answered, "Tina Fey and Amy Poehler." As for the Republican ticket, Stephen Colbert cast McCain with "Don Rickles" and himself as Sarah Palin "because I also have absolutely no business being vice president." When asked if that means he backs Obama, Colbert quickly responded, "Maybe I don’t want [a vice president] to be prepared. Don’t read into my words." The ladies were bursting with color and sparkle at last night's Emmy Awards. Christina Applegate looked positively radiant and was the talk of the night — smiley, happy and healthy. Mary Louise Parker was the most eye catching of all in her bright blue number though you all were fairly divided on the look while Brooke Shields lived up to the name of her show in Lipstick pink. Heidi Klum went dramatic while Eva Longoria was all tied up in a bow with Tony on her arm. Debra Messing was one of Fab's best dressed but what do you think? Jennifer Lopez was dressed to the nines and looking refreshed out in New York City last night, throwing husband Marc Anthony a birthday party on the same day she completed her triathlon in Malibu. Looks like the foot injury that made her bail on judging the Project Runway finale really isn't slowing her down any — though there are other rumors as to why she pulled out. Jennifer has long been planning this big 40th b-day bash for her husband, which included a costume change during the night celebrating with their friends including Brooke Shields, Donatella Versace, Kimora Lee Simmons, and more. Claire Danes, quickly back from TIFF, looked beautiful and was joined by a gorgeously glowing pregnant Naomi Watts. Jessica and Leighton continue to make their mark during Fashion Week, doing their best to attend every event possible. Sexy Eva Mendes wore a low cut green dress, and Brooke and Lindsay laughed in matching black and white. We also heard from Brooke Shields who's thrilled to get back to work on Lipstick Jungle, especially with Mary Tyler Moore playing her mom. Later in the day we checked in with the ladies of Kath and Kim. Hilarious Selma Blair and Molly Shannon joked about playing a mother-daughter pair being so close in age in real life, saying that they tried to get Dakota Fanning, but the next best was Selma. Some lovely ladies beat the NYC heat by slipping into some skimpy clothing for Longchamp's 60th anniversary celebration last night. Despite Josh being in the city filming Fringe, Diane Kruger hit the party solo, showing off her figure in a daring outfit. Speaking of flaunting a rocking body, Leighton Meister poured herself into that LBD and showed off her free-falling bangs posing with costars Jessica Szohr and Nicole Fiscella, while some other Gossip Girl kids were elsewhere in town at the big Dark Knight premiere. Rounding out the TV star set — not to ignore the fabulous Susan Sarandon of course — was Lipstick Jungle's Lindsay Price and Brooke Shields out to fashion party the night away.

Many of our favorite NBC stars both current and future came out at NYC's Rockefeller Center last night for the NBC Universal Experience party. Ah, can't wait to have all these friendly faces back on the small screen — too bad it's not until the fall. John Krasinski was sporting an ill-advised beard while thankfully Zachary Levi got rid of his. Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly looked adorable as always while next season's new Kath and Kim's Selma Blair showed off her always impeccable fashion sense. Jimmy Fallon, our official Conan replacement flashed a peace sign making his way down the red carpet. Who-ville Hits Hollywood With Horton Premiere

Hollywood seems to have Horton Hears A Who fever and I'm thinking it's contagious. Jim Carrey had Jenny, Evan and his daughter Jane all by his side at the big orange carpet premiere of the movie on Saturday. Steve Carell and Will Arnett showed off their cheesiest smiles while Brooke Shields had her whole family along to enjoy the fun. Things got a little touchy after the screening when a group of pro-lifers infiltrated the premiere with their rally. I'm sure the celebrities in attendance, including Victoria and Cruz Beckham who skipped the red carpet, didn't quite know what to do with that. Maybe a trip to IHOP for some green eggs and ham was in order? I have high hopes for the big screen adaptation of this beloved Dr. Seuss story — anyone else think this movie might actually live up to the book?

Rihanna went sheer to watch the Matthew Williamson collection strut down the runway and Miss Fergs looks like she went back in time to the 70s to catch the Marc by Marc show. While Taylor Momsen is the only Gossip Girl we've seen roaming Bryant Park this week, gossip boy Chace Crawford caught the Diesel show yesterday afternoon.
