Bday Girl Britney Brings Her Circus to Good Morning America!

Britney Spears's 27th birthday got off to a great start as she performed on Good Morning America today. Britney showed off those famous abs of hers singing "Womanizer" and introducing the hot title track "Circus" to officially launch her album. Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift all wished Britney a happy birthday via video while her family including her sons held a sign for her inside the tent. Check out all of the videos after the jump. Brit also announced her world tour dates which kicks off March 3 in New Orleans. After the show was done taping Britney left with her boys, full of smiles and ready to celebrate her birthday at Tenjune tonight. Watching her documentary changed your view on Britney and she looks more and more confident with every performance. Happy Birthday, Britney!

Britney Spears looks fresh-faced and golden on the January cover of Glamour magazine, as we get to see the results of her Patrick Demarchelier photo shoot. The singer was back to performing on stage this weekend and as everyone buzzes about whether Britney's back to her old self, the singer talks about her life and how she wants her future to end up. Here's more:

On her come back: "I have 'come back' so many times, people are just like, Is this another one?... It’s kind of like a joke to me now."
On a misconception about her: "I don’t like going out. I hate clubs. I hate being around too many people. I love my home and staying in bed and watching Dancing With the Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel. I’m kind of boring."
On where she wants to be in 5 or 10 years: "I would love to have a lot of albums under my belt. And a couple of movies….In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable."

Britney made multiple stops this weekend performing her hit single, "Womanizer." Her first one was at the Bambi Awards which most of you all thought was amazing. She continued on to Paris to perform on Star Academy and then to London for X Factor. Each act was slightly different (check out videos after the jump) and the good news is Britney's confidence is back and she's got a busy week ahead of her. She had a huge smile on stage and even Simon Cowell gave her a standing ovation! Tonight is her MTV documentary which we can't wait to watch. Then Circus drops on Tuesday which is Brit's 27th birthday when she will also stop by Good Morning America. Britney was seen leaving London today to head to NYC for part two of her promotional tour. The photos show a perfect balance of sexy and flirty, and it's refreshing to see Britney smiling and laughing again. Here are more highlights from the article where the pop star talks about her boys, her ex, and her music:

On Kevin Federline: "I didn't think my husband was gonna leave me. Otherwise, I'd be with my babies 24/7. But since they're almost like twins, they both take care of each other. I think they look like me. They don't look like their father at all."
On the boys: "Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they're such special people . . . Like, they're going to preschool now! I went there to pick them up on Friday, and seeing them in their little classroom and seeing Jayden being bad or not listening? It's like, those are mine, and it's just crazy, you know what I mean? And the things that are coming out of their mouths right now — they're learning so much, and it's new, and you never know what they're going to say, and they're so smart yet so innocent. They're obsessed with monsters, and every night we look outside, and we have to show them that there's no monsters out there. It's dark outside, but there's nothin' out there, you know."
On using personal experiences in her music: "It's scary to put yourself out there and be like, 'Oh, God, is that cool?' If you're not going to really go for it, you can't just go there halfway. But sometimes, when you go for it, you can't lose."
On choosing tracks for the album: "You just hear it, and you're like, oh, my God, if somebody else takes this song, you're gonna kill yourself, you know what I mean? Like, this one I'm doing tonight, I think it's good, and it's, like, really quirky and different and girly."

It sounds like Britney is growing up and coming into her own in both her career and personal life as a mother, but without losing the sweet Southern girl she always was on the inside.

Britney Spears Looks Happy, Healthy and Hot on Rolling Stone!

Britney Spears looks sexy, toned and smiley on the much anticipated cover of Rolling Stone this week. The magazine doesn't hit stands until Friday, but while Britney is off getting used to performing again in Europe before her stateside promotional appearances, we've got a taste of the interview. In it her longtime manager calls Circus the album that will "cement her legend status." Here are highlights:

On chaperoned dates: "Right when we got there, we just knew it was just bad," Spears says. "He looked like an older version of Harry Potter, but skinnier. … So I had to get dessert first. And the other date I had, the guy was really, really tall and a lot older. … We're trying to ask him questions, like, 'OK, you're into martial arts, so what kind of martial arts are you into?' And he was like, 'Oh, all kinds.' … But you know how silly we are, so we were just cracking up."
On her life: "I feel like an old person now . . .I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don't go out or anything."
On her kids: "Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they're such special people . . . [they] are starting to learn words like 'stupid,' and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn't get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids."

Britney's come a long way since her first provocative cover of the magazine that launched her sex symbol status, and thankfully a long way since her last one too. There are still moments of sadness in Britney's interview, but at least she's got that bubbly sense of humor back.

Britney Heads Out of the Country to Start the Circus

Britney Spears did her best to make her way through LAX today with her dad Jamie by her side. She's scheduled to make stops around Europe later this week, but while she's performing overseas we'll be getting ready to watch For the Record this Sunday, and even before that, you can listen to the full album on imeem now! Britney's manager Larry Rudolph opened up about why she decided to make the documentary, saying that the pop star wanted to tell the story herself and that she's finding more happiness every day, despite still being in a sad place. He said:

"She's already in a much better place than she was not that long ago and she knows that she's going to be in a better place a month from now, six months from now, a year from now, etc. That's what keeps her going. She's doing what she loves right now. Every day she's found more happiness in her life . . . We get along very well. I understand her better than everyone other than her immediate family. The bottom line is I think she's amazing. I love her. She's been a big part of my life, and I've been a big part of her life. Being a part of this new phase in her career is something I was very open to."

As Britney continues to keep her career on track, apparently she's also been arguing with her dad for more control over her personal life, but for now it's just full steam ahead and time to get back on stage.

Is Britney Spears This Year's Surprise at the AMAs?

Britney said her life may be like Groundhog Day, and things are sad and uneventful, but at least she's turned things around and is healthy again — well, minus the calorie-packed coffee drink addiction. Britney deserves a guilty pleasure and her longtime (on and off) manager Larry Rudolph said she's ready for this comeback. He also took credit for brainstorming the idea of the upcoming MTV documentary where she can "say what she needs to say on her terms." Until that show airs on Nov. 30, we might get to watch Brit this weekend at the AMAs. She is not scheduled to be there according to her record label, but apparently there are big surprises in store that even host Jimmy Kimmel doesn't know about.

Britney Talks About Her Dark Period and Her Exes

We've been seeing lots of tidbits from Britney Spears's documentary, and even more quotes have been leaked following today's special screening. While Britney's life has come a long way in the past couple of years, she still has a lot to say about about her past and the person she once was. Here are highlights:

On Justin and Kevin: "With Justin, he was a part of the magnitude of what I had become. So when he was gone I was like, What am I supposed to do with myself? I was devastated [by the breakup] but I handled it a lot better than the [split] with Kevin . . . He started to do an album for himself and he started to do things for himself, and I just never saw him anymore . . . When it ended I felt so alone. I didn't really wanna think about the reality of it. I never faced it . . . I just ran."
In the aftermath of her 2007 meltdown: "My trust has really been battered . . . Sometimes it can get kinda lonely . . . I had totally lost my way. I lost focus. I lost myself. I let certain people into my life that were just bad people . . . because I was lonely . . .I really paid the consequences for that. Big time . . . What the hell was I thinking?"
On life these days: "Do I know my life is weird? It's all I've ever known. I don't see it as being weird . . . I'm kind of stuck in this place and I'm like, How do you deal? I just cope with it every day....It's better not to feel anything at all and have hope than to feel the other way . . . It's bad. I'm sad." She breaks down into tears. Later, she complains that her life is too in control these days: "It's like Groundhog Day every day. It's really boring . . . Normal is really different for everybody . . . In my situation, I try to make it as normal as possible for me . . . It could be a lot worse. There are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do . . . I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I'm not anymore."

It's enlightening to hear a sincere voice coming straight from the source, and we're only more excited to see the full documentary when it airs next week.

Britney Spears Trades Therapy For Dancing

Britney Spears chatted on the phone leaving a dance studio last night before her exciting Thursday. Today in LA, 200 fans will attend a special screening of "memorable moments" in Britney's life hosted by MTV and attended by Brit herself. In another peek at her upcoming documentary after the jump, Britney talks about how she uses dancing and art to work through things instead of therapy.

She also explained in an interview how she named her album, saying at a circus you are "always at the edge of your seat" and "never bored" — which sounds like the Britney music we love. The album is still a few weeks away but apparently it's under tight surveillance after being leaked over the weekend. To top it off, Sean Preston is ninth on Forbes's hottest tots list, following in mom's all-star footsteps already.

Britney Spears left the driving to a friend and happily enjoyed a little fresh air from the passenger seat in LA yesterday. We heard that she'll be talking about feeling imprisoned in her upcoming documentary, but it looks like she's still finding a few moments to be carefree. Now there are new clips out that show Britney revealing how she "married for the wrong reasons," which makes us even more eager for this peek into her life. The next few weeks will be hectic for Ms. Spears as she gets back to performance mode overseas before coming back home for her spot on GMA and lighting the Rockefeller tree, but hopefully she'll still be able to sneak in some time to herself to enjoy it all.

Britney Reveals She Feels Imprisoned, Desires More Freedom

Britney Spears didn't flash her famous smile out to dinner with a friend at Sur in LA last night. She has been busy lining up appearances to promote her album and the latest is at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting on December 3. While she'll be back on stage soon, before then we'll get a peek into Britney's year with MTV's For the Record documentary. New quotes from it show that she has sad and helpless times even now feeling trapped in her current situation. She says:

"There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day. . . I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I’ve learnt my lesson now and enough is enough."

Britney Spears stopped at Nobu for dinner last night, back in LA after bringing the boys home to Kentwood last week. We've gotten a taste of the songs on Circus and over the weekend all of the tracks off of Brit's new album leaked onto the Internet. Rumor has it Britney might perform on the Las Vegas Strip on New Year's Eve this year, but there's a lot of excitement to get to between now and then including scoring two French music award nominations. K-Fed Defends Britney as We Hear More From Circus

Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears were joined by more of the family including Maddie for lunch at Nyla's in Kentwood after their alligator farm visit. Jayden James already seems better after his hospital scare, and Kevin Federline released a statement through his attorney that "as of now" he "won't jump to conclusions" about negligence on Britney's part and that the family reacted well to his allergic reaction. Britney Spears brought Jayden James home from the hospital just last night, but today they were already off for a fun-filled day with the rest of the family. Lynne, Jamie Lynn, and Sean Preston were also part of the crowd as they checked out the animals at a turtle and alligator farm. Jayden looked excited about the reptiles from behind the cage, so hopefully he's all recovered and the Spears clan can continue their reunion.

Britney Spears left the hospital with precious Jayden James and Sean Preston late last night. Jayden's Sunday afternoon health scare that put him in the hospital must have been terrifying for Britney, but thankfully they figured out it was an allergic reaction and all is well with the toddler after a night of care. While the past day has been rough for Britney and her boys, hopefully she at least got a smile out of learning that she was nominated for a People's Choice Award for her role on How I Met Your Mother. For now the focus is on making sure her boys are safe and healthy, but maybe we'll get a red carpet appearance from Brit when the award show rolls around in January.

Jayden Rushed to Hospital During Britney's Big Homecoming

As expected, Britney Spears arrived in Kentwood on Friday with Jayden James and Sean Preston for the boys' first trip since she lost custody earlier this year. She was greeted with a hug from Lynne, and her brother Bryan and dad Jamie were also out on the tarmac for the reunion. Britney is managing a busy schedule as she gears up for her new album, which includes a new single "Kill the Lights" that most of you are into and launching a MySpace page with photos of her auditioning male dancers. She'll even miss Thanksgiving since she'll be performing on a French show, Star Academy, during the holiday. Unfortunately the weekend reunion took a turn for the scary when Jayden had to be rushed to the hospital suffering from a suspected seizure. Apparently Britney spent the night there with her son and Bryan was spotted at the hospital this morning with Sean Preston. No word yet on JJ's condition today but our thoughts are with the family and hopefully the toddler will be back home soon.

Apparently the exes saw each other at a rehearsal and said hi earlier in the day.
