Ryan Phillippe was on daddy duty in LA yesterday, and his girlfriend Abbie was right there to lend a helping hand with Deacon and Ava. Deacon's got an athletic streak just like his dad, and he was too precious in white on the way to karate class. Looks like Ava got to spend some quality time with her dad's girlfriend while her brother was learning how to kick butt, and we love how happy these two blondies always seem — no matter which parent they're spending time with.

It was Ryan Phillippe's turn with Ava and Deacon yesterday, and the doting dad held his two kids close as they ran errands in LA. Blue-eyed boy Deacon always seems to be bubbling with personality as he comes up on his fifth birthday later this month. He and Ava are lucky that they have both mom and dad close in LA so they get to spend a lot of time with both parents, though with rumors that Reese is looking for a place in London while Jake is there filming, it might become a little harder.

Reese Witherspoon rolled up her jeans for grocery and magazine shopping with Deacon and Ava in LA on Sunday before heading to Barneys solo yesterday. With Jake away, the kids get mom all to themselves — a treat Jake's Atticus has also been enjoying. This trio always looks so sweet, and while Ryan will admit that he loved being married and still considers Reese a close friend, both of them seem perfectly happy in their current relationships.

After a super quick jaunt across the world to visit a muscle-bound Jake Gyllenhaal on set in Morocco, Reese Witherspoon was back in LA with her kids over the weekend. Reese, Ava, Deacon and some friends went on a hike in Temescal Canyon before settling down for a picnic lunch of sandwiches on Saturday. While Reese looked like she was loving the afternoon with her family, even with her man so far away but at least when he's all done he can hopefully ditch the long hair and keep those muscles.

Reese Witherspoon and Ava had a girls' afternoon hat shopping at Fred Segal on Friday. The adorable blondies walked away empty handed from the venture, but looked like they had a great mother daughter afternoon. Ava is such a little cutie, not to mention a spitting image of her movie star mama.
