Baz Luhrmann Gets Some Love From His Stars and Friends

While one star of Australia was elsewhere in town at the women of the year awards, Hugh Jackman got dressed up to honor director Baz Luhrmann at the MoMA. The handsome actor was just one of the stars out looking fabulous alongside Jessica Biel in a simple LBD and Rachel Weisz in one with flattering pink accents. Maggie Gyllenhaal draped herself in fur — can you tell if it's faux or not? — while Peter kept the fuzziness on his face. Nicole Kidman was expected to stop by after her Glamour event to help get everyone excited for their big release just a few weeks away as well as raise money and awareness for the museum's growing film collection.

Salma, Emma, Dita, and Lily Are Paris Fashion Week Pretty

Now it's Paris's turn for Fashion Week, and the celebrities are still happily coming out to see the new collections. Lily Allen, Dita Von Teese, and Katy Perry sat together at Christian Dior yesterday, alongside Zoe Saldana and a ladylike in gray Emma Watson, who gabbed away on her phone before the show. Salma Hayek and her ex-fiance Francois-Henri Pinault continued to look close in his home city, watching the Balenciaga show today — just one of the many fashion labels his company PPR owns. The month-long Fashion Week craziness is winding down, but there's still more beautiful clothes and front rows to come as Paris gets its turn in the spotlight.

Italy continues to be a celebrity hotspot thanks to Milan Fashion Week, and this time the stars came out to support Gucci and D&G. Rihanna went for one of her more edgy looks at the Gucci show last night, keeping her legs warm in the front row with a pair of thigh high boots — love 'em or hate 'em? Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey had their second reunion in two weeks since they completed the triathlon together. They looked pretty and polished with Camila and Marc by their sides before the D&G show this morning. Grinning Gwyneth Does Fashion Week, Italian Style

Gwyneth Paltrow was sporting a pair of her favorite super high heels as she made her way around Milan today. She's in town during Fashion Week to make appearances as the current face of Tod's. After stopping by one of its new stores, she joined the company's owner Diego Della Valle and Anna Wintour at a screening of the promotional film she worked on over the Summer with Dennis Hopper. Gwyneth has lots of projects to balance at the moment, so perhaps she'll take advantage of her time in Italy to get a head start on research for the next season of her cooking show.

Fashion Week Goes Around the Clock for Mena, Keira and Eva

The past day was all about the parties along with the clothes at Fashion Week. Eva Mendes — who it's your last chance to submit interview questions for! — was having fun at a bash for La Mer, while a dramatically made up Keira Knightley held court with Anna Wintour at a Cinema Society screening of The Duchess. Liv Tyler was off hosting an event of her own at the Rose Bar and Michelle Trachtenberg joined Vanessa Minnillo at the grand opening of the Target Bodegas. As for the shows, Mena Survari brought her fiance Simone Sestito to Rebecca Taylor today along with Rashida Jones. We're sure to see many more familiar faces as the week heads into its final day tomorrow.

Fashion Week keeps trucking along with lots of famous faces in the front row and backstage. Fresh from her Irvine show, Lauren Conrad had Lo Bosworth by her side today for Nanette Lepore, while Rachel Zoe joined Jennifer Lopez to support her recent favorite, Oscar de la Renta. The Gossip Girls went their separate ways — Blake Lively wore the designer joining Heidi Klum at Michael Kors, while Leighton Meester and a surprisingly normal-looking Juliette Lewis went out to see Phillip Lim. On top of her stop at Proenza Schouler on Monday, Mary-Kate Olsen brought along boyfriend Nate Lowman yesterday to check out her pal Benjamin Cho's collection. There are only two more days of fashion fun in NYC before things pick up again in London on Sunday.

Not everyone headed West for the 25th anniversary of the VMAs, and those that didn't turned out for Calvin Klein's 40th anniversary party at Along the Highline in NYC last night. Halle Berry and Gabriel got a babysitter for baby Nahla to get all prettied up to celebrate with the designer. Claire Danes, quickly back from TIFF, looked beautiful and was joined by a gorgeously glowing pregnant Naomi Watts. Jessica and Leighton continue to make their mark during Fashion Week, doing their best to attend every event possible. Sexy Eva Mendes wore a low cut green dress, and Brooke and Lindsay laughed in matching black and white. Stars Rock Their Fashion at Radio City Music Hall

The annual event helps kicks off NY Fashion Week and this year it also helped support Stand Up To Cancer. Beyonce debuted her $5 million 18-karat engagement ring before taking the stage in dazzling gold to perform with JT. Rihanna rocked a feather headdress while showing off her long legs on stage and Mariah Carey brought Nick to watch her perform. The season's couture shows started yesterday in Paris, and like last year, lots of gorgeous women headed to the city of lights to take in the beautiful sights. Liv Tyler, Janet Jackson, and Eva Mendes chose between the Christian Lacroix, Givenchy, Chanel and Armani shows, as did fashion insiders like Anna Wintour and Claudia Schiffer. Liv and Eva joined up again last night to let off some steam at the Blue Soirée, a party hosted in honor of Lanvin's collaboration with Acne jeans. The gorgeous women of Sex and the City followed their pink carpet premiere with a star-studded after-party at NYC's MoMa last night. The fab foursome continued to pose together (do you think SJP looked better than LL in that Nina Ricci dress?) as Mario Cantone had fun with some sailors and Jennifer Hudson showed off her second dress of the evening. Even though the night was mostly about the ladies, SJP was accompanied by her proud husband Matthew Broderick, while Candace Bushnell and Anna Wintour brought their men, Charles Askegaard and Shelby Bryan. In true SATC style, the fun times rolled into an after-after-party at The Carlyle hotel. The ladies may have grown up, but they obviously still know how to have a great time.

Sex and the City Premiere Glitters in Gold in NYC

Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night. Love 'em or not, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall glittered in their metallic dresses on a pink carpet that was covered with more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals. SJP looked amazing in a very familiar dress (hello, LL in Bazaar superhero photo shoot). Chris Noth and more costars came out, as well as some of NYCs most stylish trendsetters like Ashley Olsen and Anna Wintour (looking perfect as usual). New theme song artist Fergie got girlie, while Jason Lewis acted goofy sticking his tongue out for the cameras. Fans are so excited for the film that they paid big bucks to attempt to attend the premiere last night. Seriously, big bucks. Clearly this weekend belongs to the girls in the city, so move over Indy!

It was a mini new mama convention in the front row of the Christian Dior Cruise 2009 Collection in NYC last night. Both J Lo and Christina Aguilera were all done up and out with their hubbies — though it looks like it may have tuckered Xtina out. Bringing some more bright colors into the mix were Charlize Theron and Leighton Meester. Speaking of Blair Waldorf, how dramatic was Gossip Girl last night? It all seemed a bit too tidy with Serena's big secret, but that's why we love our teen dramas. Leighton is clearly playing with the big fashion names these days, but we expect nothing less from our GG darlings.

The Party Continues for Superhero Celebrities

After all the fabulous red carpet appearances from the A-list crowd at the Superhero themed Costume Gala, the night carried on and sounded just as dramatic as the entrances. Apparently Julia Roberts and Victoria Beckham bonded over motherhood while Tom continued to express his love with a lick on Katie's sweet neck. Hmm, gross. Josh and Diane remained picture perfect and Blake Lively and Penn Badgley continued to ignite off screen romance rumors by sticking close to each other's side (of course, that was nothing compared to last night's shocking episode - except maybe her killer wardrobe). Also looks like birthday boy Clooney was enjoying his evening, which apparently included a serenade from Fergie and John Mayer.
