Most of our favorite stars looked fabulous at last night's Costume Institute Gala, but a few of the superhero-inspired outfits fell flat. Fab and Bella have been all over the individual love it or hate it polls, and we picked out five of the evening's least-flattering ensembles. We know the celebrities don't have full control over what they wear to the party, but who do you think was the worst dressed at the Costume Gala?

Who Was the Worst Dressed at the Costume Gala?
Kimora Lee Simmons — We know she loves to stand out, but this is not fabulosity.
Amanda Peet — The dark and dramatic dress is too much for her.
Thandie Newton — Is she ready for the bedroom or the red carpet?
Victoria Beckham — The whole look is too over the top, even for Posh.
Rachel Bilson — That dress looks like it's super-suffocating, not superhero.

Just about everyone who is anyone put on their finest and strutted down the red carpet at last night's
Costume Institute Gala at the Met in NYC. It did not disappoint. From Tom and Katie to the Olsens to J Lo to Clooney — once again, it proved to be the most fabulous guest list of the year.

The
Oscars and the
Golden Globes seem like forever ago, but lucky for us we got spoiled big time last night thanks to the
2008 Costume Institute Gala. This year's theme was superheroes and even though no one brought the drama quite like hostess Anna Wintour, Fab and Bella still had plenty to talk about. Be sure to cast your votes below.

The
Met's Institute Costume Gala is underway, and is even more star-studded than we had anticipated. Some of our favorite A-listers really went all out for the superhero theme, while others went with something a bit more safe. There will be tons of more coverage tomorrow, but take a peek at some of the red carpet highlights and don't forget to vote on
Fab and
Bella's live love it or hate it polls now!
