The holidays are here which means hopefully you will have some time to relax and catch one of the many new films opening this week. There are so many good movies coming out this holiday season and a few that probably didn't need to be made. Which movie are you most excited to see?
Here's another movie to add to the list of films opening this Friday:
We Are Marshall, featuring Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox, the hunky doctor from "Lost." The sentimental-looking trailer introduces us to Huntington, West Virginia, where college football is a way of life. When the town's Marshall University football team is killed in a plane crash, the townsfolk have to learn how to rebuild their lives and restore their hope with a little help from an optimistic new football coach (McConaughey).

Lance showed up to support his buddy for the LA premiere of We Are Marshall. You'd think that Matthew would be tired of going to all these premieres, but it's quite the opposite. Matthew loves to go out.

The cast of We Are Marshall was all on hand for its West Virginia premiere in Huntington. This is the town where the film takes place. Matthew McConaughey has recently said that shooting the film was the best work experience of his life.

Matthew stopped by GMA to promote his latest film We Are Marshall. Matthew may have just been voted Hollywood's Biggest Party Animal, but he definitely shows that he can be serious when it comes to his work. He even wore a shirt and jacket to the show, a far cry from the shirtless Matt we see so often.

Matt and Matt are making the rounds promoting their new film We Are Marshall. Matthew Fox taped Letterman this week for an appearance to be aired on Friday's show. In the film, which is based on a true story, McConaughey plays a football coach who helps a town reunite after its college team is tragically killed in a plane crash.

Lost is on hiatus but it's a good thing because it gives Matthew Fox time to promote his new film, We Are Marshall. Matthew headed up to Canada to appear on MuchMusic. He spoke about the film which is a true story based on the devastating loss of 75 members of a football team killed in a plane crash in the 70s.
