The day following the biggest food holiday of the year, it only makes sense that there's enough remaining to feed a small village. Growing up, I quickly tired of eating turkey and stuffing for every meal, so as I got older, I began incorporating turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and vegetables into newfangled dishes. (Check out some especially innovative ideas.) But I have friends who aren't fans of leftovers in general, and that includes Thanksgiving dishes, too.

I think one of the best parts about being in a relationship is creating new traditions together, unique to the life you live as a couple. Of course, incorporating each other's family traditions is always fun, but so is instating an after-Thanksgiving hike with your hubby every year or a putting up Christmas lights while eating your leftovers. The Beckhams and Cruises swapped Wednesday's smart outfits for jeans and cosy knitwear to celebrate Thanksgiving in New York yesterday. After watching Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from the Trump International Hotel, the friendly families took a stroll through Central Park to see the Big Apple Circus. Tom kept Suri bundled up and warm, while Katie kept her head toasty with a hat like the Beckham boys.
