The cast of Nine have been spotted around London between rehearsals for their musical movie, but we're finally getting our first peek at the cast in character. Penelope Cruz was one of the latest famous faces to step out on to the red carpet at the London Film Festival last night, for the UK premiere of her movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Looking absolutely beautiful, she posed outdoors for the photographers in her little black dress, but once inside she wrapped up in her jacket. Just before the screening she spoke out about her role in the movie, saying that she "fell in love with the character" and that working with Woody Allen was "amazing". I'm looking forward to seeing this one, and you'll be able to check out Penelope and her costar Scarlett Johansson when it comes out in the UK in February 2009.

The London Film Festival continued in England tonight, as Penelope Cruz and Keanu Reeves came out to support Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Anvil! The Story of Anvil on their respective red carpets. Keanu was all bundled up in his scarf, but Penelope seized the opportunity to show some skin in her LBD. Penelope should be used to walking red carpets for the Woody Allen film by now — and she'll be receiving an award for performer of the year at the Santa Barbara Film Festival next January.
