Telling you about the fashion world's current penchant for leather trousers gives me the same sick feeling as when I reported the reemergence of the bare midrift. It's not a trend that should be approached lightly but it was seen on the catwalk at Givenchy and has now been worn by British fashionistas Alexa Chung and Emma Watson.
It's a trend that should be approached with a skip full of caution and is certainly not for the faint hearted. 
I just think Rachel is so cute. Rumors are swirling about her and her beau, and she's toughing them out in Hurley's Delany Vest ($160), which also comes in brown. We've been seeing black leather jackets for months so this a refreshing take on the trend.

Reasons we love leather: We have been on a leather jacket binge for months (seven total), Barneys's Simon Doonan and Julie Gilhart cheekily taught us how to wear it, we know how to prevent it from wrinkling — we're just leather McLovin'. And we know everyone else is feeling the love when good girls like Emmy Rossum bust out in a black leather bustier dress by Ina Soltani. Damn, girl.

Before ordering my new favorite faux leather jacket, I had never thought of ways to get wrinkles out of leather. It was only when the box arrived, and I found my poor jacket wrinkled from being packed so tightly, that I felt the need.
