30 Rock Gets Gossipy With Blake Lively, Leighton Meester I can't let this day go by without telling you about the most awesome stunt casting/crossover idea I think I've ever heard: Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will guest-star on 30 Rock, playing high school classmates of Liz Lemon's in an episode where we find out Liz was actually a mean girl in high school.

OK, yes, I know I was just talking about Gossip Girl. But forgive me for going back to the well so soon, because I can't let this day go by without telling you about the most awesome stunt casting/crossover idea I think I've ever heard: Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will guest-star on 30 Rock, playing high school classmates of Liz Lemon's in an episode where we find out Liz was actually a mean girl in high school.

No word on whether Blake and Leighton's characters will also be mean girls — or whether they'll be victims of Liz's nastiness. Either way, this just proves that 1) 30 Rock is awesome, and 2) these Gossip Girls (or their agents) are pretty savvy themselves.

But oh, the awesomeness doesn't end there. Since the episode revolves around Liz's high school reunion, we'll see adult versions of those two characters, too — and the producers are reportedly talking with Robyn Lively (yes, Blake's sister, of Teen Witch fame) about playing one of them. See? So fantastic!

So, here's a question: What actress should play the younger, meaner Liz Lemon?

OMFG! A Gossip Girl Soundtrack: Duh

My question is: What took them so long? I kid, but honestly, you knew a Gossip Girl soundtrack had to be coming because a) that's what good teen dramas do, and b) the show is as good at music as it is at one-liners.

So, the first Gossip Girl soundtrack has been compiled by The O.C.'s former music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas (you know how I feel about her). OMFGG — Original Music Featured on Gossip Girl No. 1's 13 tracks will hit record store shelves near you on Oct. 28, and the album's also available online right now. It's generally a pretty good overview of the show's music, though it doesn't have the memorable "U.R.A. Fever," the song that's playing when Serena admits to murder.

The good folks of GG are also launching an entire site devoted to music on the show. I'm pretty excited for that site myself, because I rarely watch an episode without doing some searching for lyrics I heard.

What Was Your Favorite Part of the Gossip Girl Premiere?

The clothes — All of their wardrobes were to die for, as usual!

The banter — Chuck and Blair had the funniest one-liners!

The romance — It was so fun to see the new (and old) steamy pairings!

The Hamptons — Getting the kids out of NYC was a great change of pace!

The season premiere of Gossip Girl lived up to our expectations, debuting another round of drama and sin in the Hamptons. While there were lots of juicy details, I'll focus on the fashions of Blair Waldorf.

While most of the boys were off frolicking with new ladies, Blair was busy making Chuck jealous. What better way than by looking pretty and polished with a new boy, or shall I say, Lord, on her arm. Sassy of her to mix it up in a Milly leaf print dress and though you can't see them in the picture, Arturo Chiang patent woven pumps. To top it all off, a signature headband. Get him where it hurts, Blair!
