First off, Happy Birthday to the adorable Violet Affleck who turns three today! The precious toddler wore a shirt in the color of her name as she arrived at LAX with her famous parents yesterday. Ben Affleck continues to show his facial hair and short haircut, which we're hoping is for a role since it's not our favorite look.

As Jennifer Garner dealt with some scary stuff back home, Ben Affleck was across the world in the Congo yesterday. This is Ben's fourth trip as he continues to raise awareness about the crisis afflicting the nation. While in the city of Goma, the actor spoke out about this violent situation in Central Africa, and expressed his feelings on how people need to step up and help.

Jennifer Garner and Violet had an extra special guest on their way to school on Friday — Ben's mother Chris was out to visit her granddaughter and spend the day with her daughter-in-law. Ben had his own errands to run, but it must be nice to have a pair of helping family hands in town while they prepare for the arrival of baby number two.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck brought Violet to Palisades Park on Sunday and had some fun playing on the swings. Jen looked perfectly primped for delivery with a new haircut and her ever-growing baby bump. Victor Garber, who first broke the news of their second addition, recently spoke about the Garner-Afflecks and said they are a "perfect family" and that Jen is doing "absolutely great" in her pregnancy.

Violet Affleck was animated as usual as Jennifer Garner picked her up from school before heading to the voting booth in LA yesterday. We're sure Ben had plenty to talk about with his girls as well — though the sticker he proudly showed off really says it all. Ben and Jen were just two of the many celebrities who set a good example by hitting the voting booths yesterday, and after all their hard work for the Obama campaign, the whole family must be celebrating the Democratic victory today.

After getting dressed up as Ted and Fred for Halloween, Jen and Violet were spotted around town at the Children's Museum on Saturday and a bookstore with Ben on Sunday. The family headed east so Ben could host Saturday Night Live this weekend. Jen watched on and then the couple the celebrated with the cast at an after party.

Ben Affleck took Jennifer Garner and Violet to the park in Pacific Palisades on Sunday for some family fun on the playground before he went to LAX. Ben's heading to NYC to start rehearsing before his SNL hosting duties this upcoming weekend. The election skits have been a huge hit on SNL this season, so we'll be interested to see if Ben will get a chance to endorse Obama one last time before we all vote next week.
