Tina Fey is kicking off 2009 in a big way with the January cover of
Vanity Fair. She got all dressed up in red, white, and blue to honor her newfound political stardom and was happy to talk about what it was like
playing and meeting Sarah Palin. The election wasn't the only thing on the
30 Rock creator's mind as she sat down with the magazine to chat about her upbringing, having more kids with her
professional and personal partner Jeff Richmond, and even Lindsay Lohan.

On Dec. 4, we'll get to watch Barbara Walters interview her picks for the Most Fascinating People of 2008 for her annual TV special.
This year's list includes Will Smith, Michael Phelps, Tina Fey, Tom Cruise, Rush Limbaugh, Miley Cyrus, and Frank Langella, but of course the big question is who will get the coveted No.

I know I don't usually recap
30 Rock around here, but after this week's episode — which featured a guest appearance from Oprah — I figured there was no better time to talk about the show. If you haven't seen the episode yet,
the whole thing's on Hulu, so treat yourself this Sunday and give it a watch. Some of my favorite moments:
- The idea that Jack Donaghy's tranquilizers might lead to "sleep crime."
- Liz, under the influence of said tranquilizers, whispering that she was "snitting next to Barpo."
- Tracy Jordan's monster claw.
- Sweater capes!
- Oprah's ninth-grade boyfriend.
If none of this makes sense to you, you owe it to yourself to watch that episode now.
30 Rock Style: Liz Lemon Liz Lemon gets lucky and scores a seat next to Oprah on her United flight. While her wardrobe is likely not as expensive as O's, she seems comfy in her casual wear. Get the look with a teal cardigan, striped tank, gold-disc necklace, and a pair of jeans.

Politicians have always been excellent fodder for comedy and this election season has been very entertaining on SNL (due in large part to Tina Fey's spot-on impressions of Sarah Palin). The SNL Presidential Bash even garnered
record ratings on Monday night.
But now that the election is over, will this all still be as funny?

When
30 Rock returned Thursday night, I was mostly excited just to see one of my favorite TV geeks ever,
Liz Lemon — and I wasn't disappointed. Actually that's an understatement, because Liz totally rocked my socks off when she revealed an iPhone!
I've never seen The Girlie Show's head writer with an iPhone before, so I totally appreciate the props decision for this season.

Jeez, it's about time
30 Rock came back. Since the NBC comedy was last on the air, it's picked up
a passel of Emmys, and its creator and star, Tina Fey, has gotten
wildly famous for her side job as Sarah Palin. Which is all well and good, of course — it's just been quite the wait to see the 30 Rock gang together again, doing what they do best.
