While Ava and Deacon were busy celebrating Thanksgiving with Ryan Phillippe this year, Reese Witherspoon was in London to promote Four Christmases and spend the holiday with her man Jake. The couple you were most interested in spending the holiday with headed to a party thrown by Richard Rogers, and included other celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Salman Rushdie. On Saturday Reese found time to do some shopping, though she recently admitted that her holiday spirit is on hold until she's done promoting her film.

It's most likely that Four Christmases wouldn't be nearly so funny or endearing (though that may be slightly too strong a word for it) if it didn't take place around the holidays. Just watching these family members be mean to each other would probably be merely sad if it weren't juxtaposed with this holiday that is supposed to be at least partially about family togetherness. The premise of the film is gimmicky for sure (four Christmases in one day?), but what happens during those four Christmases is actually a lot of fun to watch.

Reese wasn't the only breathtaking blonde — Kristin Chenoweth posed like a pro despite the news that Pushing Daisies has not been picked up further. While Vince wasn't on the red carpet his friend Jon Favreau filled in the place, though we miss his big friendly smile out to promote his endearing holiday spirit with Reese.
