One Tree Hill is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's not an amazingly accomplished TV show, and I always preferred the shorter-spanning
The OC, but it has enough elements that make it really entertaining on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
The fifth season of the show has been released on DVD this month — a season that marked a quick about turn in the show's storylines.

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and
Netflix) on Tuesdays. So each week in
What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. In addition to my selections below you can also take home the fourth season of
Entourage, as well as season five of
One Tree Hill (you know, the one where they leap ahead in time and everyone owns a business or is a famous writer or something).

This week's
Caption It comes from the fabulous CW primetime soap,
One Tree Hill. Poor Chad Michael Murray. He can be a bit of an easy target, what with his affinity for the
fauxhawk, huh?

Welcome to the
Caption It game on BuzzSugar! Every other Wednesday, I'll post a photo still from a TV show or movie here and challenge you to think of the most hilarious caption possible. I'll announce the finalists the following Tuesday, and you'll get to vote for the best caption; the winner will get a fabulous BuzzSugar T-shirt!

Fans of
Gossip Girl, rejoice! There's another season of frenemy-making, backstabbing, and rabble-rousing from S, B, and the rest of the Upper East Siders coming our way.
Gossip Girl is
one of six series that the CW renewed today.

Kevin Federline guest-starred on his first of three
One Tree Hill episodes on Tuesday night, marking his first acting appearance since a 2006 episode of CSI — well, and last year's
Super Bowl ad. He's playing an up-and-coming musician, which is maybe not such a stretch for ol' K-Fed. But hey, given all the current
Britney drama, I've got to give him credit for working.

The college years are never kind to teen shows. (Remember what happened to poor
Saved by the Bell?) So when
One Tree Hill was renewed for a fifth season following its characters' high school graduation, the show's producers came up with a novel way to avoid the problem: Skip college altogether.
When One Tree Hill returns tonight, it will be four years since we last visited with Lucas, Brooke, Peyton, and the rest of the Tree Hill gang.
One Tree Hill Flashes Forward When teen soap One Tree Hill returns to television this January, things will look a little different for the gang. For one thing, they won't be teenagers anymore. The show is flashing forward, catching up with the characters post-college once they're out working on their own.

The dysfunctional teenagers of
"One Tree Hill" are back tonight for one final high school hurrah. Rachel returns to host a graduation party for the senior class, at which all kinds of wackiness is sure to ensue.
Not only is tonight's episode the season finale, it's also our last chance to see "One Tree Hill" the way we've always known it.
