After receiving their honors up on stage, the winners at last night's American Music Awards headed over to the press room with their scary dangerous trophies. Taylor Swift, Jordin Sparks and Rihanna posed with their prizes, while big winner Chris Brown looked like he had a hard time managing his haul. Paris Hilton wasn't taking anything home, but that didn't stop her from striking a few poses for the waiting cameras.

Mariah and Nick were hanging out at the World Music Awards last week, and they moved the party from Monaco to Mexico with a stop in Miami over the weekend. The couple is big on tropical vacations, and while Nick showed off his abs Mariah wasn't in the mood to strut her bikini body this time around. Next week they'll celebrate their first Thanksgiving together as man and wife, so we'll see if they continue their vacation or come back to the states for a more traditional celebration.

It was a star-studded night in Monaco on Sunday as celebrities got dressed up and headed overseas to the 2008 World Music Awards. As expected, Lindsay Lohan was no longer the host so Jesse Metcalf and Michelle Williams (the Destiny's Child one) took her place. Beyonce Knowles had her metal glove on while she performed and accepted an award and her sister, Solange, took the stage to sing as well.

New York's finest, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, hosted a Halloween Eve Costume party at Marquee last night and had fun posing with a wardrobe change in the middle. The couple showed up to the party on a FDNY firetruck and then once inside changed into their milk and cookie outfits. Considering how Mariah dresses day-to-day, it's no surprise that she went super sexy for the holiday, but at least that one is a little more original.

Last night the stars got cultured at the Whitney Museum American Art Gala in NYC. A beautiful Christina Ricci and Emma Roberts stayed on trend in their dark and stormy dresses while Nick and Mariah were red carpet ready as usual. Becki Newton lightened things up a little in her busy pattern, but from the color palette across the board the darker months have hit Manhattan.

Some of the biggest names in the music industry came out last night for the Spirit of Life Award Dinner in LA, honoring Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris for his commitment to philanthropy. Rihanna, Mariah, and Adam Levine were just a few who showed off their vocal talents on stage, while Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow cheered from the audience. Nick Cannon was right there for Mariah after her performance, but Rihanna was without her constant companion Chris Brown, making us wonder if there's any truth to the rumors that she's got a new man.

Before partying for Nick Cannon's birthday earlier this week, he and Mariah got to work filming her new music video for "I Stay in Love" in Las Vegas. Mariah had no problem rocking teeny shorts and a tank top to keep cool in the desert heat as Nick played both director and supportive husband. Between those boots and hot car, it seems like we can expect another typically steamy video from Mariah.

Nick Cannon turned 28 today and Mariah got the fun started last night with a birthday party for him at Pure in Las Vegas. She slipped into a typically tiny black dress and put to rest any pregnancy rumors with her glass of wine as Nick played DJ and gave her plenty of shout outs. Their trip hasn't been all play though — the couple came to Vegas on Saturday to film Mariah's new music video for "I Stay in Love," which Nick directed.

Mariah Carey dressed a little more demure than her crazy pastel TRL ensemble — but, hey now, still skintight — out in NYC yesterday on the way to her BET 106 & Park appearance. Nick had her hand and apparently all her things as he escorted her around town. The newlyweds just added another commitment to their itinerary as Mariah is set to perform at Fashion Rocks.
