How radiant does Britney Spears look in these photos of her in Paris yesterday? I can confirm Britney has now arrived in London for The X Factor, where she'll be doing her first performance in the UK for five years. This week the acts will all be singing two songs, one Britney hit and one general American hit, and it is all down to the public vote as for the first time in the series the judges will have no say in who leaves.

The AMAs Brought Many a Medley and a Few Trophies, Too

After the ladies and men showed off their red carpet styles, they headed into the Nokia Theater for the American Music Awards last night. The show started off with an exciting medley from Christina followed by a performance from the New Kids on the Block that you guys are split on. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and the Jonas Brothers represented the industry's young blood while Coldplay, Kanye, Mariah and Alicia Keys with Queen Latifah were also crowd pleasers. Justin Timberlake played special guest while Miley celebrated her Sweet 16 between awards — check out all the winners here. There were so many great performances to choose from but our favorite act of the night goes to Beyonce, who clearly brought Sasha Fierce to the stage.

The ladies mixed it up with sparkles on the red carpet at last night's American Music Awards — check out how to get some of the looks. Miley Cyrus looked great and is winning for best dressed in her gold and black mini dress on her 16th birthday! Christina quickly walked the red carpet before kicking off the show with her medley of hits while Rihanna found a way to pull off a dress not everyone could. As usual Sarah Silverman kept it casual to support the night's host and her possibly on again boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel. Today's musical bests came out for the American Music Awards, and several of them did so in style. There wasn't a lot of color or drama, but detailing and shimmer made up for it. Taylor Swift looked sweet in a beaded one shouldered dress, while Alicia Keys looked exotic in navy and a bindi. Miley was age appropo and gilded in her black and gold draped dress. Pink went for high drama in an asymmetrical Vivienne Westwood gown, while Sarah Chalke was paired down perfect in a satin Dolce & Gabbana LBD. Kelly wore this comfy dress in LA but added her flair with a hard-edged, gold-studded belt, sassy pumps, and a black-patent bag.
