BCBG founder and designer Max Azria has announced that he plans to take a shot at the beauty industry, joining the ranks of Stella McCartney and Prada before him. His products will be a part of the BCBG Max Azria brand, and will include a signature fragrance, makeup, and skincare lines, all tentatively scheduled for a 2009-2010 release date.
While Azria is still shopping around for his chief financial backer for the endeavor, he does admit that he is "meeting with a big company next month." 
Hervé Léger is one of the most coveted brands out there right now and we're not going to stop seeing it anytime soon. Hervé Léger by Max Azria will stage its first fashion show since the mid-'90s on Sunday, February 3 at 11 a.m. in Bryant Park, during New York Fashion Week.
