One of the big questions back at the
TCA press tour was what
CSI would look like without its leading man, William Petersen, who's leaving this season. Here's our first big clue:
Laurence Fishburne is in talks to step in as the new male lead.
He'd be getting a pretty meaty role, too.

Radio City Music Hall was bursting with stars of the stage last night at the
2008 Tony Awards. The glitz and glamour were everywhere as some of the biggest names in Broadway came together to celebrate each other. Mary-Louise Parker was a highlight as usual, though I'm not sure what to say about the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz on her arm.

Watch out Vegas, some of the world's most famous card counters (at least they play it in the movies!) hit sin city last night. Kate Bosworth
the fashionista did not disappoint with her daring outfit, which she managed to pull off, premiering
21 with her costars. While her boyfriend wasn't by her side, she looks pretty cozy with cutie up-and-comer Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey.

I have to admit, I kind of enjoy watching Kevin Spacey play the seedy, morally gray characters as he gets older. He's pretty darn convincing as the everyman-turned-bad.
In
21, a casino heist movie due in theaters March 28, he plays a man who leads six MIT students in an operation to count cards at various Vegas casinos, counting their way to millions of dollars.

Laurence Fishburne is planning to
write and direct an adaptation of Paulo Coelho's adventure novel
The Alchemist. As the Variety article puts it, the "story centers on a young Spaniard who embarks on a quest to find a hidden treasure within the Egyptian pyramids."
And yet, this book is so much more than just that story!

Despite recent
whispering that there was a love triangle of sorts between Chris Rock, his wife Malaak and his
I Think I Love My Wife co-star Kerry Washington, it was nice to see that everyone was friendly at last night's premiere. The Rocks
already denied rumors that their marriage is on the, uh, rocks, and after seeing them on the red carpet last night, it looks like they are going strong. It's always good to hear that not all the nasty rumors that come out of Hollywood are true!

Sean Penn was honored last night at the Christopher Reeve First Amendment Awards in NYC. When the outspoken actor took the stage to accept his award he took the opportunity to say we should impeach the president, but then that was interrupted by his cell phone that wouldn't stop ringing. He shocked the crowd including Heather Graham, Laurence Fishburne, Kerry Washington and others.
