Courteney Cox and Demi Moore's friends and family came out to support their directorial debuts last night at the Director's Guild of America headquarters in LA. Courteney's The Monday Before Thanksgiving and Demi's Streak are two of three short films,
which you can watch here, produced for Glamour's Annual Reel Moments event. Courteney said she
would love to be a director again, while Demi was
happy to work with her daughter, Rumer.

Despite the
Dow's historic crash and the House of Representatives failing to pass the $700 billion bail-out measure, things seem to be just peachy in the life of celebabies. It's actually a nice distraction to watch cheery cheeks smiling from ear to ear in a sunshiny environment.
Why must Kingston lose his buoyant demeanor or Ruby Maguire her perky pigtails over such fiscal matters?

Straight off her weekend at the
Toronto Film Festival, Jennifer Aniston hopped down to NYC to join her good friends Courteney Cox and David Arquette for the launch of
David's new menswear line, Propr, at
New York Fashion Week. The collaboration between David and Ben Harper was celebrated by their wives and was even family-friendly enough for their kids — like Coco, who strapped on her Mary Janes and climbed on mom's shoulders to get better view of the action. Courteney and Laura Dern have been
hanging out in Manhattan with their daughters before their husbands' big night, but Cox looked great posing with her BFF Jennifer Aniston when she arrived on the scene.

Courteney Cox and Laura Dern took a break from
checking out the NYC runways for some fun, sun, and rainbow snow cones with their kids at the Central Park Zoo on Sunday. Coco showed off her unique style with her cute sunglasses while sitting with Laura's daughter Jaya. Later in the day the group enjoyed Hairspray on Broadway.

This weekend was busy between
TIFF,
VMAs and
Stand Up 2 Cancer, but many celebs still found time to sit front row at their favorite designers shows to start picking out their new wardrobe and red carpet picks. John Legend and Mary-Kate sat front row at Rock and Republic, while Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez sat a seat away from one another in the front row of Diane Von Furstenberg where
sexy sixties style beauty looks were strutting down the catwalk. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha were out to enjoy the Ronson family affair that included
cool-girl chic beauty looks while Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci smiled big at Donna Karan.

This holiday weekend found celebrities and their tots galloping along the beaches, licking ice cream and having loads of fun.
Jenny McCarthy and son Evan ran along the sands of Malibu while doting mom
Marcia Cross played in the fountains with her darling twin daughters. Check out all of the beach babes in the
slideshow and see who else enjoyed the
Fourth of July festivities.

The Cox-Arquette clan broke out their 3-D glasses last night for a screening of The Butler's In Love, a short film directed by David and starring his
brother Richmond. Coco came along for a night out with her parents, but that wasn't all the family fun. David's sisters Rosanna, Alexis, and Patricia — along with her husband Thomas Jane, who starred in
The Sweetest Thing back in the day — were also on hand to show their support.

HBO's movie Recount is on tonight at 9 p.m.! Is it watchable? Heck yes!

There is a comfort in having an obsession, in committing oneself entirely to something. And for every obsession, there are niche communities where that obsession is shared — and at least a few people who will deem it silly. The idea that everyone needs at least one thing to pour herself into is the theme of
Year of the Dog, a cute movie with plenty of heart and poignant truthfulness.
