TRL had its final moments last night with a show bringing back the biggest stars who ever stopped by the Times Square studio. Beyonce kicked it off with a performance that included the classic "Crazy in Love" but sadly no Jay-Z cameo. Carson Daly returned for the show, as did Diddy, who made the most appearances of any celebrity.

The
red carpet was fun, but the real action happened on stage at last night's CMA Awards. Reese was out to present Brad Paisley the award for Male Vocalist of the Year while Nicole Kidman left Keith's side for a minute to give out a statue alongside her
Australia costar Hugh Jackman. Keith didn't take home any statues but he did perform his new single to kick off the show alongside the hosts for the night, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.

Country music stars came out in Nashville last night for the
CMAs and to honor each other. Reese Witherspoon looked gorgeous out to present an award during the show, but she wasn't the only actress to grace the stage. Nicole Kidman took the stage too, but her first priority was supporting her performing and nominated husband Keith Urban.

If tonight's CMA Awards are the main event, last night's BMI Country Awards were an excellent taste of what to expect. Stars of the genre gathered in Nashville last night to hand out some medals. Nicole and Keith
traded off nights being honored and this time it was his turn.

It was a star-studded night in Monaco on Sunday as celebrities got dressed up and headed overseas to the 2008 World Music Awards. As expected, Lindsay Lohan
was no longer the host so Jesse Metcalf and Michelle Williams (the Destiny's Child one) took her place. Beyonce Knowles had her
metal glove on while she performed and accepted an award and her sister, Solange, took the stage to sing as well.

There were a lot of dapper men on the red carpet at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards. My favourite boys Take That performed and were interviewed at the spectacular show, and they all looked very handsome on the red carpet in their smart-casual black suits. Another of my adolescent crushes, Jared Leto, also played a big part in the show, hosting interviews in the VIP bar area wearing an
Obama tee which matched those of his 30 Seconds To Mars bandmates.

Katy Perry looks pretty excited to be on our shores, right? The singer was full of smiles and laughs in Liverpool last night, but I wonder if she's starting to feel the nerves today, ahead of
her role as host of the MTV European Music Awards this evening. Kid Rock was also in the Northern city last night before the big
MTV EMA ceremony.
The National Guard has taken its recruitment marketing to a new venue: movie theaters. Music
videos featuring real National Guard members and celebrities like Kid Rock, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and
Three Doors Down, are playing in lieu of movie trailers. The tributes to the men and women serving in the National Guard paint an alluring picture of what that service entails.

At the end of last week, before the VMAs, crowds of celebs were in New York for Fashion Rocks, which helped kick off the city's
Fashion Week. This year it was also helping to support US charity
Stand Up To Cancer, and a host of amazing female singers including Beyonce, Mary J Blige, our very own Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Ashanti, Carrie Underwood and Mariah Carey took to the stage to sing their single "Just Stand Up" for the cause — check out the video after the jump.
Beyonce also took to the stage with Justin Timberlake for a duet, and Deborah Harry teamed up with Fergie for a number too.

As
I told you earlier, Britney Spears won three awards last night, sweeping the board at the
2008 MTV Video Music Awards. After her
cringeworthy comeback performance last year, it felt like this year she'd finally got it all together — she looked stunning in her mini-dress as she opened the show with a skit featuring Jonah Hill (UK readers, you can watch it all unfold on MTV tonight from 8pm). Rihanna, T.I, Christina Aguilera and the Jonas Brothers also put on some memorable performances, with Pink's spectacle of a performance standing out as a particular highlight.
