Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in
a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of
holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with
all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her
Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF.

Taylor Momsen got to spend the day with the guys on the set of
Gossip Girl on Thursday, though she shared the boys' attention with a crowd of female fans lining up for photos. We don't need any extra encouragement to keep tuning in on Monday nights, but the CW got us even more excited by
using Britney in its newest Gossip Girl promo all about the wonder that is Chuck Bass. As always, the ad
focuses on the risqué, but "Womanizer" just might be the perfect Chuck anthem.

Some lovely ladies of
Gossip Girl celebrated the upcoming season at a party hosted by Henri Bendel and YSL Beaute in Manhattan last night. The actors were also out to recognize
their costume designer, Eric Daman, who got a
big smooch from Jessica Szohr. Blake, Penn, Ed, and Chace were MIA, but the rest of the girls represented with lots of fierce posing.

Blake Lively smiled big on the set of
Gossip Girl yesterday alongside her TV mom Kelly Rutherford. It probably doesn't take much acting for Blake to get excited about Serena's new
Fall wardrobe. In fact, we're already gearing up for
another season of fabulous clothes — including some extra special coverage of it here on Sugar!

Gwyneth Paltrow
invited some fashionable friends to Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld's Hamptons estate last Friday for a chance to shop the
Tod's Fall collection. Diane Kruger, Kelly Ripa, and the label's designer, Derek Lam, were among those who joined the fashion house's
Fall muse at the benefit for Jessica's Baby Buggy foundation. Gwyneth's charitable actions aren't limited just to helping kids, though.

Designer Rogan Gregory debuted his
new line for Target at Barneys in LA last night and had plenty of beautiful ladies on hand to help him celebrate. Rachel Bilson showed of her cute as usual style —
get her look here — as she cozied up to the designer. Her fellow stars of the small screen went for more color, from Whitney's sweet pink top to Becki Newton's sassy blue mini dress.

Has it been a week already since we last delved into the world of the Upper East Side and
Gossip Girl? It has, and there was even more scandal and intrigue a-brewing in last night's episode. Don't forget to take
Fab UK's GG Fashion quiz!

I'm really hoping that some of you caught up with the first episode of
Gossip Girl last week, and watched the second episode last night. As my
American colleagues and readers commented on last week's post, this show gets better and better, so do stick out the early scene-setting episodes. I hope you found last night's episode a little warmer, there was certainly more humour in this one!

Finally! Last night the UK premiere of Gossip Girl hit our screens, with a first episode full of sex (well, a lot of almost-sex), drugs and fashionable clothing. It's been a while since I watched this first episode of the show, so seeing it last night was fantastic – I really enjoyed it yet again.
