The
red carpet was fun, but the real action happened on stage at last night's CMA Awards. Reese was out to present Brad Paisley the award for Male Vocalist of the Year while Nicole Kidman left Keith's side for a minute to give out a statue alongside her
Australia costar Hugh Jackman. Keith didn't take home any statues but he did perform his new single to kick off the show alongside the hosts for the night, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.
Kellie Pickler recently explained that it was Carrie Underwood who turned her on to the health benefits of being a vegetarian. However, after researching the issue further, she decided to ditch the meat for animal rights as well.
While I do eat many meatless meals, I am not strictly an herbivore because I enjoy meat and love that chicken is a great source of lean protein.

Jessica Simpson stepped up to the mic along with some of country music's biggest names to help kick off the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville last night. Of course, Jess is no stranger to the stage, but there have to be some big-time nerves showcasing her new material to an audience who already has lots of preconceived notions about her. Considering the warm reception
you all gave "Come on Over," hopefully it all went over great.

Last night Kenny Chesney was declared the Entertainer of the Year for the fourth year in a row at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Vegas. Garth Brooks was also back in the limelight to receive the first-ever Crystal Milestone Award for his outstanding achievements. Performer Keith Urban didn't need a trophy to make him gush.

Taylor Swift won the night's biggest award and Kellie Pickler took home three trophies of her own Monday night at the
2008 CMT Music Awards in Nashville.
Swift's video for "Our Song" won both Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, while Pickler won Tearjerker Video of the Year and Breakthrough of the Year for "I Wonder." Pickler also won the Performance of the Year award for her live performance of that song on the CMA Awards broadcast on ABC.

American Idol alum (and
chick desperately in need of a geography lesson) Kellie Pickler and Donna "Ellie Mae Clampitt" Douglas of The Beverly Hillbillies.

Did you know that Budapest is a French-speaking country? According to Kellie Pickler, it is. Girlfriend appeared on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?, got a third-grade geography question, and showcased her stupidity to the world.

Last night the
American Music Awards brought out some of our favorite female musicians in a lot of
short, little numbers. You guys decided that Vanessa Hudgens' sparkly gold dress was
your favorite, but now we want to know — who was the worst dressed at the AMAs last night?

Kellie Pickler looks pleased as punch to be at the AMAs. I like how she went with pale blue accents on her eyes, which bring out the shine of her hair. Which...
