Samuel L. Jackson was honored by friends and colleagues last night at the American Cinematheque gala in LA. The event was sponsored by AMC, so Jon Hamm was out with his girlfriend to support
Mad Men's home network, while JT hammed it up on stage.

After walking the
red carpet in LA last night, the celebration of GQ's Men of the Year continued inside. Jon Hamm — who received
even more honors today — posed with both Megan Fox and fellow cover boy Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo also got a shoutout from Zac Efron, who said he's
"trying to take after Leo".

Two out of GQ's four cover boy
Men of the Year came out to celebrate at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Jon Hamm and Leonardo DiCaprio both lived up to their steamy covers while Michael Phelps and Barack Obama (surprise) couldn't make it to the red carpet. Obsession of the year Megan Fox looked hot in pink and kept her boyfriend Brian Austin Green close for photos.

Daniel Craig has been busy premiering
Quantum of Solace in Europe, and last night he finally came to the US with his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for a screening in NYC. While the film's female stars skipped the event, Daniel recently said any of his former co-stars like Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow or Nicole Kidman would
make great Bond girls for future installments. He wasn't lacking in female company last night, though — Becki Newton, Debra Messing and Molly Sims all took a stroll down the red carpet.

The storm clouds swirled on this week's exciting season finale of
Mad Men. As the terror of the Cuban missile crisis thrums below the surface, everyone copes with the prospect of the end of the world in his or her own way. The entire episode has a nihilistic vibe to it, with characters weighing each moment against the idea that it could be their last.

It's been a very
Mad Men weekend around here. In addition to the
second-season finale on Sunday night, about which I'll have a lot more to say in just a little while, Jon Hamm also stopped by
Saturday Night Live for a guest-hosting gig that poked some fun at Mad Men and Hamm's character, Don Draper.
A bunch of Hamm's sketches were funny — I was pretty impressed with him overall — and it was great to see fellow Mad Men actors Elisabeth Moss and John Slattery pop up in one of the scenes.

A lot went down in this week's episode of
Mad Men, which makes sense as next week will mark the conclusion of season two (boo!). However, despite some character story lines progressing along, this episode doesn't offer many clues as to how Betty and Don will resolve their marital issues.
We do learn a bunch of stuff about other characters, though, including the fact that Pete is violently opposed to adoption and poor Joan is caught up in a terrible relationship with a wretched man.

As
Fashion Week continues in LA, stars came out for charity on Saturday at the St. Jude's 5th Annual Runway For Life Benefit. The Duff sisters sparkled along with Jaime Pressly and Jennifer Love Hewitt, while Selena Gomez sweetly posed with a young patient.
