John invited Jennifer Aniston home to Connecticut but most of you would rather sit with Reese and Jake than Jen and John for your turkey day. The singer stayed busy over the long weekend, defending his paparazzi antics and announcing a baking contest he will host on his blog.

John Mayer was back in NYC last night keeping his head warm against the chilly East Coast weather. He's been spending time in sunny LA with Jennifer Aniston recently and it looks like he accumulated some mail while away from home. With Thanksgiving tomorrow, John is supposedly headed a little bit north to his native Connecticut and according to Us Weekly he invited Jennifer to join his family for the holiday.

Considering how much time they spend together and how fit they both are, Jennifer Aniston and John seem to keep their workouts separate. The on-again couple ran into Nicole Richie out with Joel Madden and the foursome quickly started chatting it up. Jennifer sat down right across from Nicole and the girls were seen having an animated conversation while the boys hung out.

Fresh off the world seeing Jennifer Aniston confirm their relationship on Oprah as well as her hilarious acting on 30 Rock, she and John Mayer celebrated with a romantic night out in NYC. First John stopped by the Keep A Child Alive event, but then the night was all about his lady. The two dined at La Esquina where they looked very lovey before signing some autographs for fans and moving on to Goldbar where they danced the night away.

Stars came out in NYC last night for a great cause at Keep A Child Alive's annual Black Ball. Alicia Keys, co-founder and global ambassador for the organization, posed with Jessica Alba who was sporting the on trend bowl bangs. Alicia was able to wrangle up some great celebrity faces to round out the red carpet like suave guys Justin Timberlake and John Mayer both of whom dressed down their ties with leather jackets.
