Jessica Alba and a perfectly preppy Cash Warren headed to LAX yesterday, pushing Honor right along with them. Cash had his Flip Video camera to capture all of what is probably his daughter's first experience at the airport. Jessica is expected to appear at the DNC this week, which should make for plenty more fun footage of the family and their potential future political activist.

Jessica Alba was sporting all the latest trends with her high-waisted jeans, plaid top and pigtail braids when she left her house yesterday in LA for coffee run. The new mom is understandably in need of an energy boost; on top of caring for her newborn daughter, Jessica has been busy working on a get-out-the-vote PSA and is expected to appear at the Democratic National Convention in Denver tonight. Cash and Honor didn't accompany Jessica on her caffeine outing, but every working mom needs some "me time" once in a while.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren took Honor out to lunch with friends in Beverly Hills on Saturday. Jessica opted for a striped cardigan and comfy baggy pants instead of showing off her amazing post-baby body that we now know how she whipped back into shape. Honor got a special smile from her mom during the walk, but pretty soon those famous lips will be forced shut when Jessica appears in a new ad campaign for Declare Yourself, urging young people to vote.

Last night in Pasadena stars came out to grace the red carpet and stage at the 2008 Alma Awards. Once again, Eva Longoria played host for the night and showed off a few costume changes like she did at last year's awards. Jessica Alba didn't have Cash with her to gaze lovingly like Eva and Tony, but she lit up the red carpet all the same continuing her smiley weekend.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren spent Friday on a double date out to a movie with Jaime King and her husband Kyle Newman before spending Saturday with their family including little Honor in her stroller. Jessica had her new mom glow to go with that big smile out on the town without her baby and an even bigger one when the little girl joined them. Date night isn't the only thing keeping Jess happy these days — she blogged last week about loving the Olympics.

I was convinced that Gwen Stefani would give birth over the weekend. But the weekend has come and gone without an announcement from the Rossdale camp, and sweet lil Kingston seems to still be waiting patiently. Still, we keep a watchful eye on other Tinseltown bumps and tots as they grow before our eyes.

Jessica Alba was in mommy mode on Friday when she took her daughter Honor to a doctor's appointment in LA. Honor was all snuggled up in her Orbit Baby carrier so we sadly didn't get a peek at her cuteness on their girls only outing. Jessica wasn't on hand last weekend to pick up her Teen Choice Award for her work in The Eye, but it seems like her main focus right now is understandably on her new family.
