Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck spent another of their girls-only afternoons together yesterday in LA. The pair swung by a children's clothing shop to stock up — with a soon-to-arrive fourth member of the Garner-Affleck clan there is shopping to be done. Even if there's another girl on the way, it looks like Violet's not about to make her favorite dress into a hand-me-down anytime soon.

Jennifer Garner was back to her daily routine of running errands in LA yesterday, this time leaving Violet at home to get her nails done with a friend. After getting political at the Democratic National Convention it's time to get back to taking care of herself and her baby bump. While Jennifer is resting and getting pampered, at least she can take comfort in knowing that Ben's doing enough good for both of them right now.

Ben Affleck spent his second day at the DNC helping pack boxes of food for the needy, and last night Jennifer Garner arrived to watch the speeches, including Obama's surprise appearance. Ben is probably doing a lot of schmoozing, though it sounds like one convention attendee he isn't jumping to call is his ex Jennifer Lopez. Ben was eager, however, to chat about Matt Damon's new baby girl.

Jennifer Garner and Violet snuck in some girl time at the Long Beach aquarium yesterday while Ben Affleck is away at the DNC like so many other celebrities. Last night he hosted a poker tournament, which brought out friends like Sarah Silverman about whom Ben joked to Extra, "Well, I’ve been dating her ex-boyfriend [Kimmel] for sometime. Other than that, we get along really well." While Ben is busy having fun and getting political, Jen is proving that big heart isn't reserved for Violet — she's yet another celebrity who will be attending the Stand Up to Cancer event.

Jennifer Garner met up with her very good friend and Alias costar Victor Garber for lunch at Orso and then a checkup at Cedars-Sinai hospital yesterday. Victor originally spilled the beans about Jen's pregnancy, although that's all in the past now that she's confirmed the news herself and there's no way she could hide that baby bump. While her husband Ben is off at the Democratic National Convention this week, it's sweet to see that Jen has her former TV dad, who also married the couple, as her stand-in doctor's appointment buddy.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner made a standard Starbucks run in LA yesterday, but it won't be a typical week for the couple. Ben will be heading to Denver soon for the Democractic National Convention, and he's already got a full schedule that includes packing food for the needy, speaking out in a forum, and playing poker for charity. We know Ben's a busy man, but hopefully he'll find time to run into our Citizen ladies?

Jennifer Garner took her baby bump down the red carpet at the Baby Einstein 10th Anniversary Celebration in LA last night. While Violet already seems like a smart one it sounds like expectant Jennifer has her baby's education as a priority. Without explicitly making an announcement Jen recently told the press how excited she is to be involved in the educational project.

Rumor has it that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been wooed "by developer John Bersci to purchase a freshly rehabbed house" in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles in the neighborhood of $22 million, according to Real Estalker. The 1930s Hollywood Georgian features "nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms including a 2,500 square foot master bedroom with a private sitting room, four fireplaces, sauna, a humongous terrace with outdoor fireplace and two tremendous bathrooms," as well as "a large motor court with a front facing three-car garage, a paneled library with hidden wine cellar, screening room, staff quarters, and a two bedroom guest house adjacent to the rectangular shaped cement pond." The property, which is currently listed at $27.5 million, hasn't yet been closed on, but time will soon tell whether the Garner-Afflecks will call the gorgeous digs home. Sounds like there would be lots of room for Violet and her future sibling to play!

Jennifer Garner left the grocery store yesterday with a maxi dress, a growing baby bump, and one smiley Violet in preparation for a festive birthday celebration. Ben Affleck turns 36 today, and he'll have at least his favorite girls with him to blow out the candles. Sounds like even more fun than last year's farmers market b-day, and Ben's probably already looking forward to when there will be another face in the family to give birthday kisses and hugs.

Jennifer Garner had Violet in her arms earlier today as they made their way into a children's art class in LA. Violet seems well on her way to being one of the best-educated tots in Hollywood — she is a frequent visitor to her local library and she even has a few masterpieces to her name. As not only smart, but also creative and artistic parents, it seems like those dimples and smile aren't the only great things Ben and Jen are passing on to their kids.
