Harvey Weinstein hosted an Election Night Party at Public House in NYC yesterday as everyone got together to watch
Barack Obama elected President. James Franco beamed and hugged everyone around him. Jessica Alba posed with Taylor Momsen, who's not old enough to vote but still got in on the excitement.

Kate Hudson and Fergie have been busy filming
Nine in London, but yesterday they took a break for dinner at Cipriani with a few of their fellow costars. It must be fun hanging out and making new friends, and judging from Kate's big grin, there's been plenty of laughs to be had during their time overseas. While we can't wait to see the eclectic cast showing off their skills for the musical movie, for now the girls seem to be having a ball just hanging out and
enjoying London's nightlife.

London's Cipriani restaurant played host to several stars of upcoming movie musical
Nine last night. Producer Harvey Weinstein brought together Dame Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Sophia Loren, Marion Cotillard and Fergie for dinner, before shooting starts
in a few days time. The film will be directed by Rob Marshall and follows a famous film director (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he searches for harmony in his professional and personal lives, spanning relationships with his wife, his mother, his mistress, his muse and his agent.

Penelope Cruz smiled leaving Cipriani's after dinner with Harvey Weinstein in London Thursday night. The Weinstein Company helped with
Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which is
getting good reviews, and the duo are set to work together again on her next star-studded project
Nine. Some of her costars like Kate Hudson and Fergie have already been spotted around London getting ready for the movie, but unfortunately one person Penelope won't be alongside on the big screen is her real-life boyfriend
Javier Bardem, who dropped out of the film a while back.

The cast of
Vicky Cristina Barcelona hit NYC last night, missing a few stars but still showing off the steaminess that makes the movie so hotly anticipated. Scarlett didn't join the group, maybe because she's sick of answering
questions about Barack Obama or her
fiance Ryan. Her costar Patricia Clarkson brought a little va-va-voom, but even Woody skipped the red carpet in his home town.

The steamy stars of
Vicky Cristina Barcelona did not disappoint, bringing a little bit of glamor to Hollywood last night for its big red carpet premiere. It's hard to say which of the lovely ladies looked most spectacular between Penelope in black, Salma in white, and Scarlett very much living up to her name. Night and day from her
Teen Choice dress, but boo on no Ryan Reynolds again.

Apparently, the two
Project Runway spinoffs that the Weinstein Company announced it had up its sleeve for Lifetime just aren't enough. The Weinsteins are
pitching another Project-titled project, this one called Project Triple Threat.
The show will be a quest for the nation's best actor/singer/dancer, according to Variety.

Diane Kruger left her
hot man Joshua Jackson at home and slipped into something glamorous for last night's "A Night of a Thousand Lights" party to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in NYC. She wasn't all by her lonesome, however, as she met up to make model-y faces for the camera by the side of Michelle Monaghan among others.

Though the whole
Project Runway vs. NBC lawsuit is yet to be settled, Lifetime is moving forward as though it will be
airing the show in the Fall for sure. And that's not all: At a presentation on Monday, Harvey Weinstein — whose company produces
Project Runway — told reporters that Lifetime will be airing
not one but two spinoffs of the show around the same time as the show's November premiere.

Well, it looks like
21, the film about MIT students who take Vegas by storm, was a safe bet as it easily won the top spot at the box office. However, the
overall weekend box office total was down 17 percent compared to last year, Variety reports. 21 earned an estimated $23 million, beating
Horton Hears a Who and firmly establishing
Jim Sturgess as a viable leading man.
