Welcome back to my
Buzz Gift Guide series for all the entertainment lovers in your life. On Monday I dug up some gifts for the
little ones in your life and today I'm brainstorming ideas for the teenage dudes in your world who are pop culture sponges.
If I had a teenage brother I'd insist he own a
complete set of Indiana Jones DVDs including (but more importantly, not limited to) this year's fourth addition to the franchise.

Remember back in May, when David Archuleta and David Cook of
American Idol rocked out in their tighty-whities to
Old Time Rock N' Roll for Guitar Hero? Well Activision Publishing is back in full force with their latest installment of their "Risky Business"-inspired Guitar Hero ads; a new commercial for
Guitar Hero World Tour, which hits stores today. Directed by Brett Ratner, the commercial features big sports stars jamming — like Kobe Bryant (on the mic), Tony Hawk (on the drums) and Michael Phelps and Alex Rodriguez (on the guitar).

I'm not overly familiar with this female duo, but popular to to the tween generations, teen pop band Aly and AJ, will be coming out with their own guitars for games like
Guitar Hero and Rock Band for the Wii and PS2 in a few weeks. Each guitar will cost a cool $70, and fans will be able to choose from Aly's Guitar, which will feature a heart and cross bone print in a pink and brown color, or AJ's pink Guitar that features a purple zebra print and is in the shape of a heart. Performance Designed Products, the makers of the guitars, will create one of the guitars specifically for tweens, ages 8 to 12 while the other will be targeted for teens and older.

If you don't think you'll be able to break away from Guitar Hero long enough to check out Wii Music this October, but like the idea of seeing your Mii rock out on guitar then you, my friend, are in luck. The Wii version of the upcoming
Guitar Hero World Tour will have a special game
exclusive to Wii players called "Mii Freestyle" that lets you jam with a friend, and see your Mii playing along on screen.
Similar to the game's
Music Studio mode, Mii Freestyle lets you pick and choose the notes you play (hence the whole freestyle concept), and you can even jam with the Nunchuck and Wiimote air-guitar style.

What is this little dude, 8 years old? While we're all playing Guitar Hero, he's doing the real thing! (Let's all hang our heads in collective shame.)
Thanks,
eBaum's World!

16-year-old Drops Out of School to Play Guitar Hero
What is it with the kids these days? Instead of ditching school to join rock bands, they're now dropping out to play
Guitar Hero?! Yes, a
North Carolina teenager named Blake Peebles is being home schooled so he can devote all of his free time to a videogame.

Which of these celebrities told US Weekly about their geeky weekend goings-on?
"If you heard a rumor that I covered myself in fake tattoos and played
Guitar Hero until 3 a.m. this weekend, that rumor is true.

I have many fond memories of
rocking out hard core with my pals with Guitar Hero until dawn. Since it was the first of its kind, it will always have a place in my game loving heart. But things change, and so do my obsessions.

If you're secretly longing to grab a seat for the American Idols Live! tour this year then you may now have a good excuse to go without being made fun of by your friends: they'll let you tinker around with the new
Guitar Hero World Tour system, and then compete during a special "half-time" competition between Idols and fans.
Since Guitar Hero has already made friends with the Idol franchise, enlisting the top two Davids to star in
their hilarious Risky Business commercials, it's only natural that they would take them on tour as a cool opening band.
